I honestly thought the razer kiyo looked better, and it's what I'm going to get. My cousin already has the c920, and it is amazing, but I want to try out the Kiyo and it's ring light feature.

Hey bro very nice review, just found the video. However I didn't understand the gaming part with the resolution, What do you mean by that? Like I want to buy a webcam for doing Game Reaction stuff, will you recommend one cam with higher resolution or not? Will it pulse too much?

Great review! Thanks! But in the comparison of the C920 to the Kiyo, maybe for a video about video quality, show more of the video and less of the graphic :) Way too much wasted space when we could be seeing the quality difference better instead. Would have made it perfect!
Would be awesome if you did a comparison of mirrorless cameras for streaming (but not, like the insane expensive ones :)

I picked up the Razer for $20 on clearance at Walmart. Video quality looks better than expected.
Wonderful review and an honest one. Could you please help me, thanks for that. I wish to buy a webcam for recording my art and painting videos for youtube. Mainly, the cam would be focused on closeup of painting process. Which should I buy between these two ? Or Should I continue with my mobile phone ? :)

Honestly I'd say stick with the phone camera over the webcam. camera software in smartphones has just gotten much better over the years and I think you're better off saving your money.

Only ever used my built in cam, but a plug-in seems like it'd really improve my video quality...
I love razer, but I think Logitech is the best one. less noice, but the razer has better color, I need one for my twitch streaming. Should I go for the Logitech ?

what recorder do you use for your mic ?
For the webcam comparisons I just used A cheap $65 mic running into an Evo4. Software was just obs. For the intro and outro, I was using my movo vxr10.
noticed razer kiyo always refocuses which is really annoying
Yeah razer really has to work on their autofocus, even the kiyo pro has less than desirable autofocus IMO

If you can get one for around $60 and don't mind tweaking the settings, I'd recommend the kiyo.

i prefer how Razer looks sharper but i prefer Logitech's color. Razer can't handle reds well and has a terrible greenish look. Logitech doesnt show grain because its always a bit blurry. In the dark it works better but with light its annoying. UGH idk what to get....
I bought the razer kiyo recently on sale for $69 from Best Buy for me personally it pulses too much almost non stop when you have it on auto focus and when I turned off auto focus it’s somewhat better but if you exit the app it resets your settings which annoys me I thought it would save what I changed it to its also very grainy and when you have the ring light on it struggles to focus sometimes and pulses way more than without the ring light on its less pulsing and when I use zoom you have to change settings every time don’t know if that’s just me and it looks bad but again I think it is just me not sure if i need to change settings or something but I don’t like it very much and might return it for these reasons i think it’s overpriced for what it does in my opinion soo I think I’ll switch to the c920 or wait for something better but I did try this webcam with different lightings it didn’t help much with pulsing or anything so i personally really dislike this webcam
Similar problems happening here. You would think Razer would have the decency to send out a firmware update or something to address/fix it but nothing from Razer about it yet, I think
@@TheDearRecorded exactlyy I feel like it’s definitely not the same as people show on CZcams but I think they need to make some changes to it for it to be better especially for the original price they need to update some things also again I’m not sure if it’s just for me as well I forgot to mention when I used zoom with this webcam it made me look white as if I had a bad lighting on me when the ring light was off and when I turned the ring light on it just made me more whiter as if a flashlight was directly on my face it looked terrible

The Kiyo is a lot more expensive wherever I look, Honestly, I'd prefer the Kiyo if I could afford it, but where I am, the c920 is cheaper, heck, the Kiyo is going for the same price as the c922 (close to it) where I am..

Honestly i wouldn’t say the kiyo webcam is that good but you could check during Black Fridays or any type of sales at Best Buy or other stores I bought it for around $69 I don’t think the webcam is worth it for the original price but the on sale price is the same as the c920 which I think would be better than the kiyo for the price or just wait till you can get a better one
