Absolutely wonderful update to one of the coolest horror mods out there!! Loved it a ton!! It's really nice hearing the actual official rendition of Really Happy and the team absolutely nailed it!! Both new songs sound incredible, loved playing through them! The screen shake in Really Happy might've been uh... a little too much for my taste hehe. I basically had to go into the chart editor and memorize the chart where the screen shakes happen, because at least on my monitor it's all pretty much a blur! That also explains why I think this is one of the worst accuracies I've ever had on any FNF song, sorry for that! Other than that though it was incredible! Loved all the new sprites for the new songs as well, they all look amazing! Really liked the cutscene before Really Happy too, just an overall really fun mod to play through! Hope you guys enjoy!

This channel consists of videos about modifications to a rhythmic video game (some of which I personally worked on) that range from slightly difficult to very hard for most players. Four arrows fly towards the screen forcing you to press them at the right time to the music. Hitting all the arrows in a song counts as a "Full Combo", which is very hard to do and takes a lot of time and practice to be able to do consistently and is the main gimmick of my channel, which I showcase in each video. I also include secrets and extra content that might’ve been undiscovered and show them off through instructional and entertaining ways that can be used as guides, as well as occasionally adding my own input on things happening in the video, all done through my creative editing style that focuses on being concise and transformative. In the descriptions I give my in-depth opinion on the video game as well as timestamps for each part of the video. Besides the abyssal amount of screen shaking on the third song, this update is pretty damn good.

Its literally unplayable. That amount of shake + the fact the arrows are all black and white the same as the background make it impossible to see. It was already a pain on the second song and now its just undoable.

And for the Shaggy video, he FC'd God Eater, and a bot for that didn't even EXIST when the video was out. Yea, he's legit.
I retrospectively really like that the animations make him feel really twitchy in Unhappy, really good foreshadowing.

honestly feel bad for the mod creator, you can kinda tell this was a passion project at the time and it got thrown into the limelight with massive expectations for an update
even though the last two songs' art/gameplay mechanics are a bit of a downgrade imo, you gotta respect the work, because judging from the creator's community posts there was a lot of bottled up stress leading to this, which could have affected the final product

@@YumiAndHisDrip While I understand why you say that, I believe that if difficulty comes by cheaply hindering the player it's not difficulty, it's a handicap.
Rhythm games work on being able to see the notes, and press the corresponding button.
The grey-scaling on the notes already provided that beginning difficulty by requiring a bit more from the player when understanding notes, and a *little to moderate,* (the amount is important) screen-shake would have complimented that.
What they did here the same as if the tried to force you to play while having a seizure. You CANNOT SEE the notes properly. It can also cause headaches but that's from person to person.
Half of Really Happy is genuine guesswork, and wouldn't be surprised if Flippy just looked at the raw charting in debug mode rather than trying to trial an error it.
It's a novel concept executed, in my opinion, poorly.

out of curiosity, have you noticed that in most mods, the boyfriend's voice is different from the voice used in the original??? as a redub, I find myself wondering if the producer of the original voice would give mod makers a wider range of new sung syllables, words and notes to increase the variety of possibilities.
They just make their own version of the voice, its actually pretty simple
I thought that the fan-made version of Really Happy sounded great and I was curious to see how the official version would turn out, I honestly can't decide on which one I like more. They both sound great in their own unique ways I guess. I like the change that they made with Mickey's voice in this version though, gives me the impression that Mickey's voicbox is morphing and falling apart. Especially in the last song.

The change of vocals to adapt the song with the mod it self's, the various of transformations, and let's not forget that violent shaking for the screaming part in Really Happy
I honestly feel glad that the update is done and all, BUT WE GOT A LOT OF RESKINS OF THE TWO NEW SONGS INCOMING.
I personally love the intensity of the screen shaking in really happy, makes the whole thing feel really intense and I love that
It turns hitting the notes into a guessing game, pressing random notes hoping you hit them, as the screen shake makes it littleraly impossible to see anything, its quite annoying

Even if I miss a couple times, it's not gonna kill me, and it adds to the whole horror thing of the mod imo, as I said before, it makes the situation feel intense, even bf and gf are both scared of Micky, and that's why I like the intensity of the screen shake.

I honestly LOVE the shake for the third song and how it is synced with the HARD BASS of the song. It adds so much more intensive gameplay and I love the scream at the end lol.
I like that in Happy, if you listen closely during the second half, you can faintly hear the screaming sounds heard in the original creepypasta. Those small details make this mod pretty cool.

I really like the third song. You can hear and feel the desperation in his voice and through the screen shaking.
Unlike in most FNF mods, where the character becomes angry/transforms just because, you can truly feel Suicidé Mouse’s sanity slipping with each song as he goes from indifference, to anxiety to full-on desperation until the last song where he’s just overcome with nihilism and emptiness. Maybe I’m looking too far into a creepypasta mod, but I still give props to the creator since despite the overuse of effects, this truly feels like a passion project.

Ok I think I get it now. I get the whole trait of taking cheery happy characters and either making them have a dark side, or show that they are actually very sad or depressed. In this case, Mickey is suffering from depression, and it shows in the songs. Unhappy, he's singing a cheery, happy song, probably a way to mask his depression like a lot of people, such as myself does. Putting on a happy mask. In Happy, you can see the smile on his face, but as the song progresses, you can see the strain he has keeping it and it breaks into something scary and just wrong. I think that's him starting to break from that happy, cheerful persona to show the pain. And in Very happy? He's basically begging for help. You can see the fear, sadness and maybe some anger at how he's feeling and what he's become. He's tired of always being the happy mouse we're known him to be. But he's also tired of the darkness in his heart that's depression. I mean no disrespect to the person who made Suicide Mouse, but it didn't send the message I think they were trying to send. This one of the reasons why I like this mod. It shows this kind of thing in a more mature way while not being too overbearing. And let me be clear. Depression does not always lead to Suicide. It can, but it's not always the leading cause. In the end, this mod shows how Mickey has been dealing with depression and what he's become. He's not a monster. He's just someone trying to reach out for help.

I think Mickey could've been sad, but he couldn't express that while the cartoon was playing. So the creators forced him to smile, starting from the song "Happy", which didn't seem to work. At both songs "Happy" and "Really Happy" he does not actually seem happy. It seems as if he tried to get help from whatever thing he'd try to recover from, but then again, "Why WOULD he need help!? He's smiling!" could've been what the audience thought. Mickey's scream at the end of Really Happy could've expressed his real feelings, before he dissappeared.

am I the only one who's kinda disappointed with *both* the new songs? like yeah Really Happy's screen shaking is a fucking NIGHTMARE but Smile just seems like a disappointing bonus song for the context-it's more sad than creepy imo, and while that's not a bad thing by itself, this is... a horror mod and that means I kinda expect horror songs
plus, it's super short, they definitely could've done more with it

Anyone else love it how both Mouse Mods include homages to Steamboat Willie? I'm honestly waiting for a mod that shows love to even more of Mickey's career. The Band Concert, for example. There's a lot that can be done with these characters. I know Disney would strike down hard on it, since fan works are a no-no, but come on, it's not done for money or malicious intent. I'd wanna see it done for nothing more than a tribute to the more than 90 years of Mickey Mouse. I don't know the first thing about modding so I can't make it

The intensity of that screen shaking on that 3rd song hurt my eyes just trying to focus on the notes and that's never a problem for me 😆 a sign you're doing something wrong theree. Hopefully other mods don't try to pick that up and compete

Ok so Im not gonna lie, this update kinda dissapointed me. Really Happy is extremely repetitve and Smile is there because its FNF they have to sing. FNF is a story rhythm game anyway so you could've put a cutscene there instead of a song. Weeks are only supposed to have 3 songs also. Im pretty sure they put more effort into Happy and Unhappy more than Really Happy and Smile.

yeah. not inly does the sing sound so familiar the amount of screenshakes is over doing it. they could at least put an epilepsy warning on the game. how many people will have a epileptic fit to this? they need to add a warning desperately.
