    Even though I'm pretty sure Alucard would ultimately win, I can't think of an anime character from any other series who is as well-equipped to deal with Alucard than Itachi. First of all, he's a fire-user, and we all know how much vampires "love" fire. Amaterasu in particular would be something that Alucard would want to be wary off. Secondly, his genjutsu prowess gives him some groundwork to build should he end up in a psychic duel against Alucard's third eye and mind bullets. And thirdly, is his Susano'o. What better way to face off against an army of a million zombie-ghost familiar warriors than in a giant, ethereal suit of armour, wielding a blade that seals souls?
    When you look at it that way, you gotta admit, Itachi's got a good shot. And lest we forget the last person to beat Alucard was a 65-year-old german fellow and his homies using nothing but some knives and a sharp piece of wood.
    Puts things in perspective, doesn't it?

    • @PKNut-un8cp
      @PKNut-un8cp Před 9 lety +2

      There's only one problem with that thought process.
      1- Fire was never shown to affect Alucard in any specific way. He DID tank a rocket launcher pretty damn easily. Explosions and fire, etc...
      2- This fight assumes Alucard will release Restraint Zero. Which, only Integra can do for him. He will not unleash it without her permission. With that in mind, Alucard is fully unstoppable.No matter what Itachi does, Alucard will just keep coming back, as the only time he is truly vulnerable is in Level Zero.
      3- Nevermind the powers... guns. Just... guns. Itachi's time period never had guns.He wouldn't know what it is until a bullet landed in his head. By then, it's too late. Or, in traditional Alucard standards, his legs get shot off. Itachi won't survive that. He IS still human, in the end. People bleed out without legs.
      When it comes down to it, you're still talking about a ninja with special powers, and an unstoppable force of pure death and destruction. There are very few who could truly stand in Alucard's way. Itachi may give a good fight, if allowed to, which also plays to Alucard's standards, but Alucard would still come out on top by a landslide.

    • @Raiden4019
      @Raiden4019 Před 9 lety +1

      Peyton Knight I respectfully disagree.
      1. Fire, silver, and all other vampiric weaknesses still have full effect on Alucard. The only reason he keeps coming back is because he has a stockhold of lives that he can sacrifice to preserve his own. That's how his system works. He's basically vampire Mario with a ton of 1-up mushrooms. Why do you think it takes longer for him to regenerate from a decapitation or headshot (Anderson Final fight, holy bayonet through the head)? Why do you think he was stuck on that damn boat in the middle of the ocean and had to move it using telekinesis all the way back to Britain?
      And yes, this principle still applies after Level Zero is released. The releasing of that restraint doesn't mean all of his familiars instantly go "fwooosh!" out of him. It just grants him the authority to deploy them at his own discretion. That's why Baskerville wasn't immediately summoned in the fight against Anderson, and that's why he was still able to regenerate from the catastrophic injuries Anderson dealt to him under the influence of the Holy Nail: He was still able to call upon some last minute reserves to give him the juice needed to finish the job.
      2. With this in mind, Itachi's Amaterasu is the most obvious tool to use against Alucard. Once he has been touched by it, the fires would slowly deplete his reserves unless he somehow pulls a cthulhu power out of his ass to remove contact with the flames. And even then, there's still Itachi's Totsuka blade: Who's to say it won't just take Alucard AND all of his souls in one blow, while they're still inside him?
      3. Unless Screwattack's DEATHBATTLE does an episode involving one of the Naruto cast (which is doubtful since it's kinda hated on knowadays), none of us can really say for certain how fast the average shinobi from the Naruto-verse is. But given Itachi's existing abilities and repertoire, I don't think it's out of the question to suggest that he could potentially dodge or evade bullets. Either by why of physical ability, jutsu, or by tactics (reading muscle movement like Batman).
      And again, to reiterate: Alucard, the unstoppable 600 year-old psychotic impaling vampire warlord prince, with a billion familiars, shapeshifting, teleportation/kinesis/pathy powers, and expert combatives and marksmenship skills: Beaten by a FUCKING OLD GERMAN GEEZER WITH A PIECE OF WOOD.
      If Van Hellsing could do it, than Itachi has MORE than a good chance at success.

    • @PKNut-un8cp
      @PKNut-un8cp Před 9 lety +2

      See, the thing with Hellsing defeating Alucard was that Alucard often wants his foes to defeat him. That's how he is. Also, that is an Alucard who was less experienced then ashe was by the start of Hellsing... Also, without guns. The reason Itachi wouldn't win is because Alucard would not see one who had been reborn from the dead as a foe worthy of defeating him. He said it himself- Only a human can kill a monster like him. Itachi being revived from the dead means that he would show no mercy to him, whereas with Anderson and Hellsing, he was more lenient in his fighting. But my point before is how would Itachi know to dodge a bullet if he never saw a gun before? I can assure you, bullets are a lot faster than shuriken or kunai. Add that to the third-eye aiming, and that's game right there. Alucard would always know where Itachi is, if that's the game he plays. As for Amaterasu, as you said, all he need do is activate his powers. Which I forsee him treating this fight a lot like he did with Rip Van Winkle... ruthlessly. No forgiveness, and cold. The thing with that blade that you last mentioned is just that... how do we know? No one in Naruto has more than one soul. So I would say it is safe to assume it only takes one soul, seeing as it is designed to fight humans in a realm where monsters like Alucard are not exactly common place. There's also another factor we haven't discussed... and that is the fear factor. Itachi might not be one for emotions... but neither are other vampires. And Alucard scared the fuck out of pretty much everyone around him just on their lack of understanding what he was. Itachi would never dream of a being as fearsome and frightening as Alucard. He wouldn't know what to use at what times to fight him. And that's how he ends up as dog food... not comprehending what he's fighting. In a true fight, you can defend Itachi all you want. Would he stand a decent chance? On paper, yeah, he has the perfect arsenal for the job. But it comes down to the experiences and the gap in time periods between them. Alucard has hundreds of years of battlefield experience. Itachi is... maybe in his twenties. Alucard has modern weapons. Itachi has old weapons, and we all know what that means. There is a reason shuriken and swords are no longer used on the battlefield, and guns are. There are tactics here and skills Itachi cannot physically know. See, the thing with bullet dodging, is that you need to see it, process it, and then be able to act out dodging it. Sure, easy enough to say he can. But in practice, Itachi has never dodged something as fast as a bullet. He would not even know what a bullet is. I don't see true killing potential for Itachi's arsenal against Alucard. Relying on only two true ways to fight him, and hoping both is all you need is the quickest way to lose. Variety is the spice of life. And literally everything Alucard has in his arsenal can kill or maim severely. Even just his hand with minimal effort can tear limbs. Itachi would pull out Amaterasu or his Totsuka Blade at the start of a fight. Which, in reality, that's what he really needs to do to win. But logic says to use your best tactics last. Alucard could have Itachi dead before he even knew there was a fight. It would all really come down to how Alucard would be feeling. And that's NOT a fun variable to play with. (Sorry this is unorganized. Tired.)

    • @Raiden4019
      @Raiden4019 Před 9 lety

      Peyton Knight Stopped reading at "undead."
      We're talking LIVE Itachi here. Edo Tensei means instant immortality unless the caster is killed. Which would result in Alucard's defeat because it's a cheap shot. It's like putting a guy in Counter-Strike with an aimbot mod against a guy who has GODMODE on: NO CONTEST.
      2. And where do you think that desire for defeat came from!? Have you even READ Bram Stoker's Dracula!? If not, go read it, and don't talk to me again until you've finished it. Dracula wasn't looking for someone to kill him, he was King Shit on Turd mountain and wanted to conquer all of planet Feces. Then Van Hellsing came along and BEAT him using nothing more than a few incantations, his wits, and a few sharp objects. THEN, he chained him up, subjected him to experiments with science and black magic, and turned the newly dubbed ALUCARD into his personal BITCH.
      THAT was Alucard's wake-up call. THAT'S when he started thinking like he does now. He was pissed at losing, but he was more pissed that Van Hellsing didn't finish the job. Which is WHY he's always looking for someone LIKE Van Hellsing to defeat him! He wants to know it wasn't a fluke! He wants to be assured that humanity is strong enough on it's own, without interference from the Divine or the Demonic! That's why he gets so torn up over Anderson!
      3. How would he know to dodge? Uhh... SHARINGAN!? It's basically the Third-Eye, only with more perks!
      4. The blade managed to Take both Orochimaru and his snake summon. As Far as I'm concerned, living things have a life-force in Naruto, and therefore have a soul. Therefore, Itachi's murder of Orochimaru counts as a chain kill.
      5. Itachi has more than enough experience to match Alucard's. He watched the nine tails tear the village to shreds with his baby brother in his arms, was essentially a child soldier throughout his whole black-ops career committing horros and atrocities that would drive most soldiers insane, endured killing off his entire family to stop a civil war, pulled the biggest revolver-Ocelot style mindfuck since... REVOLVER OCELOT'S MINDFUCK....
      Itachi is the coldest, coolest mother-fucker you could meet. Between all the Geneva Conventions he's violated, and doing fights with demons, psychopaths, undead, snake-voldemort-pedophile ninjas, and all the shit in Akatsuki? The man is INCAPABLE of fear.
      And you're forgetting, Itachi has fought enemies capable of travelling at LIGHT SPEED.
      ... You've never read the Naruto manga, have you?

    @swygster Well, that's another thing. A character saying something and a character actually performing said thing (and thoroughly displaying it) are two different things. I guess you could equate that to the writer's lack of showing an ability fully to keep in line with the story. Unfortunately that's the best we can get because having a character show off their abilities as a story probably wouldn't be a good story. Anyways, thanks for the compliment, YT is rarely this polite :)

  • @tiphotisted
    @tiphotisted Před 12 lety

    @MattCadillac I don't think the "everywhere and nowhere" thing ever existed in his abilities. In the manga, maybe. We gotta be careful when powers get to the point of (or close to) omnipotence because so many times they have been blown out of context only to fit someone's convenience. The important question to ask is what "is" in each character's universe. One character's omnipotence or omnipresence in one universe will be different from another character's.

    @swygster Actually, kinda of a pointless argument. At the end of the series, Alucard gains the ability to be "everywhere and nowhere," meaning he exists where he wants, when he wants, for as long as he's aware of himself. Meaning Itachis genjutsu won't affect him, because he can simply decide he doesn't want to be trapped in a mental realm, and boom, he's back in reality. On top of that, he has several million souls, so it would be kind of hard to kill him by removing them.

    Tough to say. Alucard is immortal, but because you are already dead doesn't mean your undead soul cant' leave your body and leave you beaten. Defense-wise Alucard definitely has the advantage, but Itachi has far more abilities at his disposal, especially Susan O. Although, if we bring in the fact that guns don't exist in Naruto, the fight may be over quicker than expected. Can Itachi dodge bullets? Nothing that fast was ever introduced in Naruto.

So the comparison isn't as drastic as say, a Naruto character versus a DBZ one. In that regard, considering that Alucard can rip apart normal humans with utterly no effort, Shizuo (who only has immense strength, he can still be injured in most cases like a normal human) would still be killed quite easily by Alucard. Also, yes, Shizuo did get hit by a truck (twice) and had

    i wouldn't be so sure about the effectiveness of that weapon against alucard ;) after all, it has never been tested on a 600 year old vampire ^^ personally, i think that it is probably impossible to catch alucard in a genjutsu, because it is shown that even seras victoria (his infinitely weaker disciple) could see through an illusion by another vampire using her "third eye", and that even before she drank blood and became a real vampire.

I think Straight Couger could go on par with Alucard due to his x3 speed of light,but would kill himself during the process. Shizuo from Durarara!! would obviously win

  • @MaggieCandy999
    @MaggieCandy999 Před 12 lety

    I always thought Itachi would win. I mean think about it the very MINUTE he makes eye contact with someone they are trapped in his genjutsu and when that happens they are basically goners.
    But that's just my opinion...

  • @Breadon92
    @Breadon92 Před 12 lety

    @AlucardTheOfficial oh i unno he might have trouble with itachi since he could basicly trap him in a realm where theres several thousand of him and he can kep killing alucard over and over until he does eventually get to the real alucard. pllaus he's got susanoo which if he hits alucard with it, it would steal all the souls he's absorbed and seal them in the jar; including his own. but ya i think Alucard would still win cause Alucard is awsome lol.

    @SkyChord2010 Sorry, Alucard would rip Shizuo apart. Alucard is easily one of the most powerful characters created in a manga, aside from deities.

    Alucard MIGHT win, but I dunno, Itachi could hold his own. Especially with Susanoo. But of course Crispin-san wouldn't know about THAT because he doesn't read the manga. o3o

    @ekininja9999 There's no need for an argument. I mean, come on. It's so obvious that Alucard would annihilate every single being inside that room under an hour. He wouldn't even need to be serious about it, either.
