I'm 19 days clean from Opiates, more specifically Fentanyl; & last night, after leaving a NA meeting with one of my friends, she played this song, & more songs with this type of vibe/genre. & I absolutely love this song, I mostly listen to Hip Hop, sometimes Classic Rock, & Blues, but when she first played this song, within the first few seconds of it playing all of the stress from being in recovery, & everything else, & all negative energy left my mind, & im writing this here because honestly that moment it happened, left me speechless and I feel like none of my friends would be able to relate on the level I do with this song.
Wow, Im listening to this song with tears rolling down my face. Im 42, about to retire from the military and have a wife and 2 and 1/2 year old daughter at home. I have never had a piece of music move me so much.
