- Lived in Scarborough for most of my life and I've never visited this trail. I knew that it was sometimes washed out, but decided to take the Gravel bike there the day after a storm.
Scarborough has some beautiful parks. Shame it's such a pain to cycle through.
Nice ride nice trail.
This was fantastic ! Thank you for sharing your experience. Best wishes!
That area was Iroquois Indian settlement 200 years ago.
Beautiful Trail. I don’t think my kids would be up to biking that hill but they’d love it along the shoreline. Maybe I can suggest a bike date to the husband.
Did that trail a few times.
@CycleYYZ which direction are you cycling in this video?
North-East or South-West direction?
I start heading south-east from Ravine/Bellehaven towards the lake and turn left (roughly northeast) and go until I hit the little beach at the dead end. I then turn around and head back out the way I came in.
I enjoyed watching your video. I love to go there. I live in North York and I need to drive to get to the trailhead. Is there any parking available close to the trailhead?
Street parking on Ravine/Bellehaven, just south of Kingston Rd. There's another entrance on the east side by the Guild Inn's gravel lot at the base of Galloway, but I don't know the rules for it.
Can you let me know where is the starting and end point of this trial? I wanted to do it this weekend
Sunday morning looks good, be mindful that the main entrance could still be wet from any Saturday rain.

@@cycleyyz thanks so much!
Trail Forks lists the hill as 36% at some points. I think I'd have to bring some gears to that party....
Depends on how much you love your knees. I've done Pottery on my old 46/16, don't know if I could do the gully (also needs wider tires.)
Twyn Rivers at Rouge Park & Sheppard has a 30% hill. The gully never felt that steep. I did however, move continuously between 20 and 30 with a 26 in front and 38 mm tires for gates gully. You could probably suffer through with 1:1 but road gearing would suck
Just wondering where do you park for the trail? Thx
I cycled there. I don't like to drive my bike places unless the round trip exceeds 200kms. You could park on Ravine Dr/Bellehaven? I'm sure.
The video does not even remotely hint at the grade of the hill!
It looks almost flat :)
Pretty sure it's steeper that Bluffers.
@@cycleyyz it's a solid level above bluffers
