- In today's video I have a landscape 6x8 Mini Album Tutorial for you all! This video is a collaboration with Tiffany as part of our ScrappyChristmasKrafts series where we create a new folio or album tutorial for you and we decorate it with Christmas paper in an attempt to use up our Christmas stash! I had so much fun coming up with this album design including it's unique landscape size as well as all the fun new elements and page designs. I'm definitely going to have to make another one of these and maybe even a spin off of this one with some other page designs, who knows what I'll come up with next but I really love how this one turned out!

You have incredible talent girl! I'm dealing with a shattered humerus right now so some things are really hard to do, but I'm still card crafting, just doing more simpler cards. @@KarolinasKrafts Karolina, I'm over here in Washington, up all night crafting. First time using the gold foil paper. Do you adhere it down with wet glue or do you use your ATG or maybe double sided tape? I tried Art Glitter Glue and all the glue lines are showing through the foil.
@@thecrabbycrafter sometimes I do double sided tape but I usually use wet glue, my bearly art glue. The glue comes right off the foil , just use a wet q tip to clean it up

I don’t remember exactly how many but I made a fall one just like this and in that video mentioned it used more than 12 sheets of paper so more than one collection kit

65lb cardstock, linked in the description. Once I add my patterned paper with wet glue, everything becomes sturdy

When I draw it out ? I use GoodNotes. I made myself a notebook for GoodNotes (that I sell on my Karolinasdigitals Etsy shop) and just draw my designs on there when I’m on the go and commuting to work

I use GoodNotes with a digital notebook I made. It’s the same app I also use for digital planning, my recipe book, my monthly videos I post and film, my tracker to write down which collections I use throughout the year and so much more. Is your MK scalloped corner rounder part of the general corner punch or a separate punch? Hope that makes sense. Oh removed the hinge with success 😊 💜🇬🇧

So sorry to keep asking you questions. When you notch your pockets with the EPB how do you do it so your patterned paper show that small edge of black around the notch? Make sense? Maybe not. Do you punch both pieces together? 💜🇬🇧

Advice please. I decided to make this album and so far surprised myself BUT I've placed the hinge a little to far to the left. I'm so mad at myself. I tried to remove it but it was causing more damage than good. Will it still work out? Also what do you do with all your excess black cardstock? Many thanks 💜🇬🇧
I save the scraps for pockets, tags etc and sometimes for cards.
For the hinge I don’t know how far to the left you placed it. It’ll work but I would either get rid of the waterfall on the inside cover or get rid of the bulk of those two flaps on the first page with the closure. You may not have enough room for both

How do you get the ribbon in the waterfall? Do you cut a slit from behind the first one? Also thank you for this. This is my 3rd one. I’ll film the other two and use the hashtag #scrappychristmmaskrafts
No you just put it on the waterfall before your patterned paper

Do you ever make these with the paper directly instead of a solid cardstock?
Not usually. I have a paid tutorial for an album like that where all the pages are made of patterned cardstock instead of solid in my Etsy www.etsy.com/il-en/shop/KarolinasDigitals?section_id=34765962
When you stitch your paper do you also glue it first? Thank you
I glue after it’s stitched. I may put a little piece of tape to hold layers together while in stitching. But they don’t get glued to the base til after

Karolina, how do you compare the art glitter glue to the barely arts glue.
I prefer bearly art because it’s cheaper and because it feels like you have a little bit more wiggle room when you stick the paper down by a couple of seconds. But otherwise they work the same!
What size are your eyelets do you use?
Usually 1/4 inch
