  • After the last video and new guard tower build - I wanted to experiment with a couple of new ideas for guard posts; as I realised I'd only really made towers and wanted something new.
    I also make one design for artillery pieces - but will be making a video soon with a few more.

Thanks again

    I think Bethesda should just get rid of the 'you can't place that anywhere' mechanic, because although it prevents mass unrealistic settlement building and all (e.g. floating buildings and merging objects), it also greatly reduces the creativity to make stuff alternative AND also hinders making realistic looking structures (e.g. giant walkways that actually look supported and don't break physics).
    Also, that second design could also look a bit more like bunker if the roof was lowered more :)

    Why not put the junk fence on a rug first? When it hops up you know it's not sinking, then you can grab the whole mess with the magic wand (pillar). You'll lose the rug but who cares. ;)

    Ok, dumb question. Do I need to find a picket fences comic in order to get concrete walls? I tried to create a wall around Starlight with them but quickly realized I can't at this point in my game.

      as recklessgamers69 said, you need Wasteland Workshop DLC. If you have it and they're just not showing up then I'm not sure what's going on.

    Yo get the mode Place Everywhere by TheLich. It allows you to place any building thing anywhere you want so their is no red when you try to place something down only green.

    • @paedric8132
      @paedric8132 Před 8 lety

      @Nick Friend: Place anywhere will not be an option for console users. It requires a script extender (F4SE) to function. Neither Microsoft or Sony allow 3rd party software to run on their systems.

      +Nick Friend:The Place Everywhere mod is PC only because it requires the F4SE script extender for functionality. The mod will literally do nothing without it. It will not work on consoles. If I remember correctly, Davey is gaming on a PS4. It is not going to be compatible with his system.

    I use this autohotkey script to do the tricky parts, and it essentially allows you to do anything you want, without having to worry about collision. Greatly recommended mod that works with every version since it relies on autohoykey:

    I really dont like the idea of putting structures around the arty pieces cause you got to keep in mind they need to be able to spin 360 degrees.
