Excellent Video as usual, You mention the LUFTs and having targets. how do you discover what the targets are for a specific platform? The days of vinyl production and their requirements are past (unless you have mega bucks and/or a record company behind you) So I am investigating how to master myself without expensive monitors (and a new pair of ears) for online streaming.
One tool I use is Expose from Mastering the Mix. I’m not a fan of their AI-driven stuff but Expose lets you analyse a finished render and compare it against known targets like Spotify, CZcams, etc. Really handy and only $30 or so. It will also detect stereo issues and dynamic range.
I bought into Izotope as a newbie due to AI. You had videos saying Izotope AI is a good place to start. I wanted to ask you to do a video on what to do after that start. Other than relying on AI alone, this seems very easy to use. However, as I've learned more, it seems indeed Izotope has great tools to use. Any thoughts on comparing this with Ozone, especially for someone with a year or two experience?

Heya, thanks for watching. I feel like this and ozone are very different beasts. Ozone is great, but perhaps has a more 'clinical' feel - and of course gets you there via AI. This to me encourages you to rely on your ears a little more, with being too concerned with the technical details. It feels a more 'musical' rather than 'technical' approach.

As a novice, I have to make decisions on what to purchase soon - what is easier/better to use - Master Plan, Ozone 11 or T-Racks One for mastering?

I like this plugin! Sounds cool! But Mike due to your experience, which one do you think is better, this one or Ozone 11 elements that uses AI?
Will the software allow embedding metadata such as ISRC and ISWC codes?
