The only car similar in a way with the s2k will be the Rx8 imo, stock shifter very short/rwd/50-50 weight distribution/9k redline/NA both lovely rides

Definitely best looking RWD convertible out there but I feel a bit overrated. Owned both AP2 and 86 and I can say for sure 86 is the better handling car. I feel S2000 is so hyped purely because of VTEC fanboys and nothing else. Parts are stupidly expensive and it snaps oversteers easily when pushed hard even on staggered set up. It's a dangerous car to drive for inexperienced drivers.
86 handles better?, You got to be kidding me.
Clearly you haven't driven one. 86 and S2k are both great driver's cars, yet provide vastly different driving experience. Each to their own, but you here comparing these two prove you haven't driven it. If you had, you wouldn't even bother putting them on the same scale saying one is better or worse than the other.

Not sure about 86. But I agree with you on the S2K. I have driven a few S2Ks, including the Type S. Massively disappointed. Soft top does not sit well behind and is gaping open. Interior is dull and worn out. Have to rev all the time to keep up. Pain in the ass in Sg morning and evening traffic. Boot space is shit. Miata for its price has more value for money. And the 1st Gen Z4 with a profile of over 200hp is way much better than this overpriced and overhyped car. I once drove the E85 Z4 2.5si and was truly blown away. Unlike the S2K, it is seriously underrated.

@@arthurwong577 I like your “street-way” of presentation in your videos. Just a tip, if you want to stand out among the many car reviews, maybe you should also cover the cons of the car you are reviewing and not keep talking about how good it is, just like the many other car reviews. And most importantly, don’t get those “long due for scrapyard” cars to review. These cars are on the street for so long that their pros and coms are already widely known and it serves no purpose at all as these cars are rarely seen on local road anyway since most of them had already becomr scrap metal.
Way overpriced and a ticking time bomb for a high revving engine. A friend bought in 2021 and after 2 months of driving about 800km, engine started to give problems and eventually engine gave way. Mileage was at about 170k. Too much hype. Buyers beware.
