I don't think so, if you watch his other appearances with him they have a pretty great rapport, Hunter is a little bit more rambly and fucked up here than his other interviews, so I think Dave is just doing the straight host shtick that seems to go with the territory and a little bit of either annoyance or possibly disappointment is seeping in because he's a rare guy to be seen in this context and he's kind of wasting it on a meandering course of not quite getting to most of the points. Sure, those of us that love Hunter are still enamored with it, but it's an opportunity to show his genius and charm to a much wider audience and in that aspect it's kind of squandered, which is definitely not the case in the other 2 appearances I've seen
