Well... maybe not as 'suitable' as "Bamb"i or "The Lion King", I suppose that's what most people would think and some would even say, forgeting. - or not knowing. - that those two pictures contain scenes of incredible violence and most disturbing emocional conflicts not, and I say definitly not suitables for kids.
Why do you think everybody cries a river while whatching Bambi's and poor little lion's desasters and misfortunes??!!

Being born and living 56 of my years of my life in Massachusetts. I see what the government of today has become, I can't help but wonder was all for nothing? Freedoms lost daily, A government no longer for the people. Only today by the ignorance of the people who think change can come from voting the same people into office year after year. Only new people will make change the old are the ones who brought us to this point for personal benefit. Not for the good of the people. Have we gone full circle.

I agree, I began in Boston and had a love for history. Still do. I explored as much as I could reading, listening watching films but no one could tell me where all the indians that were here, where are they now. Then I began to learn. We have gone full circle almost ,there is still more in the plan.
I agree with you in that we're a 2 party system that seeks the same end only utilizing different methods... this is throughout history... those in authority, in whatever capacity, seek power, money... they rise and fall...

I say yes, it's suitable enough, let your children watch. And learn, of course. Learn what exactly? Well, I suppose that's up to them to choose witch details they like the most. Dont you agree?
What a dramatic story. It is set in the poor Anglo-British kingdom where a king would be selfish and the last to dissolve parliament. So the cruelty was definitely there. Yet it does not reflect the religious situation of the time. The republican translation of the story is from later times and was written in this era. May not say probably with Irish influence. People were much more religious and God-fearing then. They did not yet have distinct political ideas and philosophies. Many of the settlers were no more than refugees from poverty, or from the European Roman Catholic Inquisition and thus mainly Protestants or fortune seekers. A poor reflection was made by seeing one woman, a Catholic, burned to death on the stick with much drama. The reality is that the Inquisition did this daily in many places in mainland Europe by all who did not kneel to the Roman Catholic Church. Hundreds of thousands were murdered by the Inquisition where in the e.g. also freedom-seeking partly Protestant Holland, the Catholic churches were simply allowed to continue to exist only not given a role in the politics of the time. The successor to this king was James II, although the last Catholic king of England was also the king who reinstated parliament over the king, which is still the case today. The persecution was for almost 99% done by the Catholics and not the Protestants and that is where this story gives a bad picture.
I would agree with you, do you have any books or movies you recommend? My ancestors were from Scotland, probably the younger brothers to the Early Stewarts kings, or cousins, nephews, ect. My husbands family comes from Holland and they are Lutheran. My Steward family was Methodist since the early 1800s, not sure about earlier. Thanks!

@@craigtonkin6343 The blond in this movie moved on like it was nothing, typical blond in my experience of knowing like 200 very well, when they say they will love you forever, that's like 3 months at the most, and it's not creepy, it's the truth! Didn't it bug you how she just jumped on the other guy after being in love with that guy? Then had a kid!
