Australia would be such a richer place with people like you. we are ready to welcome you back with wide open arms.
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
I took a vote of everyone in the room (my wife and I and two Burmese cats) and the results are in ! ! !
You two are hilariously ADORABLE!
As far as we're concerned, you folks can move here to Australia as soon as you like !
Omg hehe thank you!!! 😍😊 This has made us very happy - we appreciate your (and your wife & cats) input! ❤️
Great video, I’m an Aussie born and bred in Sydney and now live in Newcastle (Hunter) I really enjoyed someone else’s perspective of my backyard 🇦🇺🙏
You're an absolute joy guys and it's been such fun to watch you travel around.
Come back to settle one day - Australia would be lucky to have you 😊
Thank you so much!! Oh yes we’d absolutely love that!
I wouldn’t listen to a lot of commenters here, you guys did absolutely the right thing. If time pressured and it’s your first ever visit make sure you visit Sydney and Melbourne, and you also had time for a nice road trip to wine country. Save the outback, Tasmania, barrier reef etc for trip #2 or 3. Save Canberra for trip #15
Thank you so much! 😍 We cannot wait to come back in the future!! ❤️
I totally agree with this post! There is some beautiful scenery in Perth as well, but I'd head to either Tassie or the Great Barrier Reef next. They are AMAZING!
Leaving Canberra until trip 15 is a bit cruel, its not that bad, except for Pollies and bureaucrats.(lol)
Those birds are a national treasure known as "Bin Chickens" Ibis is the proper name.
LOL "Bin Chickens" shouldn't need any further explanation, but it probably does. (What's a bin?) lol Not for me as I'm an Aussie, but other nationalities might be confused.

Loved seeing you explore the Melbourne's Queen Victoria Market. I enjoyed this as a travel vlogger who's all about exploring local eats and chatting with locals!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😍
That was more entertaining than most comedy movies ive watched .. Dylan and the shower door scene had me in tears and the wine tour lady and her cheese salad story 😂😂❤❤ safe journey 👍👍
Ahahaha the wine tour lady (Jules) was INCREDIBLE 😍 she literally made the whole experience!
I love the quality of your videos! Glad you enjoyed Australia 😊
Thank you so much!!
So glad you guys had a great time. You’re always so optimistic and calm when plans change last minute. I’ll never forget the self locking van moment.
Subscribed to keep watching you guys follow the sun. 🌞
Come back to Sydney any time! 🦘🎉
Absolutely loved every moment (even the stressful ones hehe) 😍 Thank you so much!
Hi guys loved you blog , I’m from the uk ,I have lived in a little seaside tow n called Sussex Inlet in NSW for 4 yrs ( in Australia 5yrs ) , you have given me so many ideas of how to spend my retirement here in Australia, have done some of the things you guys have done . The two fat guys tour looks amazing…. HIC HIC . Thanks again for a fantastic blog 👍🦘🦜🚐

I normally don't watch travel vlogs, but I really enjoyed watching yours. Glad you enjoyed your visit to our land.
Thank you so much! We had an incredible time 😍
What an excellent video! Very well produced! You guys have very positive vibes!
Thank you for visiting!
Thank you so much!! 😍😍
Thanks for your most entertaining video. I grew up in Sydney, but have lived in Adelaide for most of the last 50 years.
I completely empathise with your unexpectedly meeting the Swedish waiter, meeting a fellow compatriat overseas is a delight. The solution to your van being too high to get into the camping area at Blue Lagoon was hilarious ! The solution was SO Australian !! We do try and make easy solutions to any problem. No worries, mate ! And when you get locked out of your van. No worries, mate, we’re here to help.
Hahaha so true!! The mentality is very “no worries mate” and we absolutely love that! Need to act more Australian ourselves 😂😍
Thank you for uploading this. I love long travel vlogs. 😊
Thanks so much for watching 😍😍
Great final vid guys, well edited, informative, personable, a little quirky and lots of fun..looking forward to your next adventure..

I watched all of your series here, I love seeing people tour our country and what they think along the way. You are such a cool fun couple so it made watching fun. By the way that bird around 6:40 is a White Ibis, we call them bin chickens. 😂😂

Australia' s cuisine isn't just pies pasties and fish and chips . That is just hangover cuisine from britain and many young people just dont buy those things. Nearly everyone has a favourire asian cuisine and mediterranean cuisine is similarly varied: italian greek lebanese north african etc . I am 5th generation australian and i rarely eat old british stodge! I love the victoria market
Your dessert looks like white peach
I grew up in the rocks went to school on the observatory hill had running or walking practice over the harbour bridge and back every morning as a class before lessons start to get our extra energy out😂
No way hahah that sounds so sweet! 😍 How lovely!

Hi Guys,
Watched your channel for first time when you visited Melbourne. Was waiting for you to show more than our amazing food. There are places in Melbourne that are iconic that you have not included like Great Ocean Rd, Mornington Peninsula with its wineries & hot baths. Our beautiful zoo in the city area & so much more. One of the most liveable cities.
Really great video guys. I love the food scene in Melbourne and the coffee is on another level. Thanks for the work you put into this post and i hope you enjoyed Australia.
Thanks so much 😍😍 Oh yes the food and coffee was really incredible!
The BBC should sign you guys up for their travel shows....this is a fantastic travel video which is so wonderfully presented by the two of you....so much fun❤

Great video it’s so funny to hear someone say Australia is so cheap where we believe it’s so expensive to holiday here in our own country, sorry to see you had bad weather in Melbourne but that’s part of the city’s charm you can get all 4 seasons in the one day hope you come back some day to continue your journey look forward to watching your next clips.

I've bushwalked around Katoomba. Loved the rocky bits, found a dam along the way, outside the park border, swam naked in clear water a beautiful forest setting with wild horses about. It was awesome ! Glowbugs at night too.
Oh wow that sounds incredible!!
Peter, the driver from Melbourne, was nice to you, guys. And the Jetstar flight was very typical, that includes Qantas too. Very typical. Apart from that, you guys had a great time in the island downunder I supposed. By the way, thanks for sharing your little trip down under. 🙏

where else can you park an ocean liner on the main street (George st) and have the grand canyon a couple of hours from the city centre, the tourist board may want to sign you up, good video, lunch at the ICEBERGERS CLUB at BONDI BEACH would have been a nice addition

I've met a couple swedes in Sydney, I think there is definitely more Swedes coming to Australia which is great! Lovely language!
Oh awesome!! Happy to hear that 😍
I love your videos! This one is among my favorite.
I'm an American living in Australia. I lived in Sydney before moving to the Blue Mountains. Just to let you know... if you think that a hotel in Darling Harbour that costs $105 AUD per night is expensive, it's not. It's WAY cheap. The average hotels there and in surrounding areas are about $200 per night on average, so you got a great deal. Australia is very expensive compared to most of the USA, so I guess it's all relative to where you are from if you think it's not expensive. I lived in the UK before and found it was more expensive than most of the USA, too.
I absolutely love living here (and it's pretty easy figuring things out because I am married to an Australian), but I had huge sticker shock compared to living in the USA. Also, be prepared to have SLOW and expensive mail service if you want to get packages from family back home. Yes, the public transportation is probably the most affordable part of AU. I think you visited some great places, and it's interesting that you found each area had so many differences in the way houses and gardens looked. My husband often says that there are so many people from different countries that live in Sydney, so it doesn't have it's own identity, and we think that's a great thing because it brings so much diversity to Sydney. We also love Melbourne, and are now considering taking the dinner train ride you took the next time we go.
Thanks for the great video! We love your channel!
Oh wow haha - we got a crazy deal on the hotel then 😎😅 I suppose it’s all relative! We’d love to move to Australia one day but budget wise we’re miles off 😂😅 thanks so much!
They said it cost 105 UK pounds a night not 105 Australian dollars so your comment is pointless.
Great video! Next time i'd recommend Canberra, and possibly Mt Druitt (best mountain views in aus)
Loved your video ❤️ next time in Melbourne visit The Lume and drive the Great Ocean Road ✌️
Oooooh! Thanks for the recommendations! 😍

Have you ever scrubbed a potato, poked it with a fork and baked a few of equal size, low for an hour, you can add butter if you want or eat it with stew or soup. Add sour cream or what you like. Check and remove with a thick tea-towel, if done it'll be squishy in the middle. Eat the skin too.. Cold ones can be eaten cold, if left over? Have you got room for an air fryer in you home van? Or a plug in snack oven?
Have you heard of dry-pan steak? You start it cooking in water, a spoonful, until the fat on it comes out and finishes it cooking. The colour is pretty much grey, but the flavour is amazing. No marinade o anything needed. Did you try our prawns? Just peel them yourself and use shells for stock or throw them out. If you want a sauce like thousand island dressing, put equal amounts of tomato sauce and mayonnaise together and mix.
I make pizza on two flat breads! Bottom one goes crunchy. Try basil pesto, pink salmon and bocconcini torn up. Or cold cooked chicken chunks with tomato sauce, for the base and mozzarella. Garlic bread is minced garlic from a bottle, thinly sliced mushrooms and mozzarelle on thick rounds cut from a hot-dog bun. The other buns can be split lengthwise, I use fish paste, creamed corn and whatever I want ham, salami, capsicum, then cheese. A bun makes two pizza subs. I use 3 for garlic bread and 3 for pizza. Did you try hawiian pizza in aussie? Or a lot burger with pineapple, a fried egg and pickled beetroot. You can ask for no meat, if you want. Have you tried aussie fish and chips? Go to maccas and get some vegemite, for a sanga lunch if you can't get another lunch?
Hello!
Thank you so much for sharing all these fantastic cooking tips and suggestions with us! We absolutely appreciate the ideas, especially those that suit our van life setup. We haven't yet tried making dry-pan steak, but it sounds incredibly flavorful, and we're definitely adding it to our list to try soon. 🍳
As for the Aussie favorites, we did indulge in some local fish and chips and tried the legendary Aussie burger with all its unique toppings-what an experience! We're always excited to dive into local cuisine wherever we travel. And yes, Hawaiian pizza in Australia was a delightful surprise with its unique twist.
We love your innovative approach to quick and homemade meals; those pizza subs sound amazing! We might just feature some of these recipes in our upcoming travel vlogs. 🍕🚐
Keep those suggestions coming, and thanks again for being such an engaging part of our community!

Regarding parking in Australia.
1 - You can only park facing the direction of traffic.
2 - Look for signage as in some places you must park Front in, Rear in, or at an angle. In some places a combination of Front Angle or Rear Angle parking.

Seems you enjoyed you visit, hope you do come back, maybe next time come to Brisbane, and just get a camper for a few weeks, go down to the gold coast and work your way north from there to the great barrier reef. there's so many things to do in this region alone. Adelaide and Perth are so far apart you'd just spend days driving from 1 to the other, so do them in separate trips as well, there you go, three more trips to Oz, or just come back for a year on a working holiday visa if you can and do a big lap.
Thank you for your suggestions! 😍🙏🏼 I fear we are slightly too old for the working holiday visa 🥹

You're quite right - Australia doesn't have a cuisine, just a couple of unique things. One advantage of that, however, is that the food from immigrant communities is REALLY authentic and really good. Aussies don't really have expectations of what the food ought to be like, so they tend be very accepting and open to new tastes.
That’s just amazing - the best of allll corners of the world 😍
Love Sydney
😍😍
Western Australia is the largest state in Australia, there is definitely more to this country than Sydney & Melbourne
So true!! 😍 so much to explore next time!
On the bright side atleast the van self locking debacle happened in a caravan park where you could get help,
Can’t imagine if it happened out in the middle of nowhere 😬
You’re right! That would have been terrible 🥹
Flinders St station doesn't have the longest platform in Australia .. East Perth interstate terminal does .. the Indian Pacific transcontinental train with 34 carriages stops there.
Oh you’re right!! Both very long haha wow!
Pro tip, in Australia you can't park facing the opposite direction to traffic flow on the side of the road like you can in the UK. always park on the side you're driving on.
Hehe whooops! Definitely won’t be doing this next time!
You’re very incitful!
