Yo this one is crazy I like it so much
What effect did you use for those transitions between sample chops?
man I like your works bout you talk fast and slow down so we can see what you are doing tanks
Honestly I just use my iPad with koala inside an AUM app with CZcams opened as an audio unit.
I love the piece you didn't like at 7:35! But...my ADHD arse was listening at 1.25x playback speed... At normal speed i agree with you!
That being said can I sample this video?
Sampling is not as difficult as I always thought, thanks for the tutorial, Dillon 🙏🏼
No problem thanks for watching!
finding parts of a sample and mixing is incredibly difficult. it takes mad skill to transform a sample into something new.
@@Scarecrow2140 not really it is FAR harder to actually create the sample
@@darioam3329 yeah no shit
@@Scarecrow2140 nah.
It's like 2:27am and I'm up literally just looking for the best sampling tutorial and you just made it look easy. Appreciate your work man keep it up

Make a chord progression and melody.
Sample yourself.
Chop it in fruity slicer.
Add Halftime, flangus, effectrix, etc…
The quality of this video is actually insane such helpful information in a concise video
Bro It's been years since im using the metronome tick sound, i didn't even know you could change it for hi hats ...God bless you
You Honestly broke it down in the best way possible appreciate it bro💪🏾
This video is perfect!! Exactly what I was looking for information wise, chilled vibe and straight to the point. On top of all that the beat started sounding pretty hard towards the end 😂🤝 thank you.
I been sampling on fl for years and you have reinvented the idea for me thank you so much
Happy to help bro!
@@DillonXO sometimes when im using slicex layering some chops do make some exotic sounds chops lole you said the in repition
Been trying to work out how to chop this disco sample properly for hours now until this. Nice one lad
Thank you for the tips my friend! I definitely needed this🤙🏼
This is excellent!! Have no idea what I’m doing and it a lot easier now. Thank you 😊
This Video was very helpful! as a beginner producer i love using samples and creating a whole new wave i never knew how to do it fluently like this. I always do things by ear and what sounds good but i love the way you break down each step and this helped out a lot i watched it about 3 to 4 times to really get it down for muscle memory because FL can be very tricky if you dont know how to use it properly. SO thank you and God bless!
When the window pops up dude that gives you all those knobs to fool with take that knob in the middle slight off to the right I think its labeled like time mule or something like that and fool with it. I found by doing that I could get that southern hardcore rapid tick noise I hear in all those rap beats and you can do it to anything too I just really like doing it to the hi hat. Try it out and have fun!
can't wait to try some of these out! i've been getting the itch again and have been wanting to try some new things, so thank you!
That’s dope have fun!
It Worked perfectly after trying other methods this one was the best one, Thanks.
Wow. You're the best. I couldn't understand what you were saying but I just followed instructions. Thank you so much
Man, the way you explain everything with a smile...damn
very good instruction and made it very interesting, I always wanted to learn how to sample and I will be adding this to my library so that I can learn thank you very much
Glad it was helpful!
Wow this is the best sample tutorial I’ve seen.
6:00 is why I clicked on this video and you provided what I needed.🤝
Nahh he just made all of this make sense to me easily, I appreciate it Heavy
Everything works flawlessly
yooooo, you have no idea how much this is gonna change my life 😭😭😭
This actually helps a lot... I was thinking in do a shit like daft punk. Just to try out sampling
Dope content as usual
Very good tutorial my man! You can also take the knob I think it's called time mule and add that to your hi hat for that southern hardcore sounding fast ticking noise and you can control how many ticks it makes so you can do like triplets and stuff it's a wild program to fool around with. I like to take my beats and down tune the hell out of them so that pitch knob is my best friend for that.
Can’t wait to use some trick from this vid they will definitely help💯💯💯
My mind just exploded when he pulled out the key finder that’s awesome and so helpful
You make it look so easyyy 😩

you cut like every second and dojnt show you actually going to the options it makes it very hard to follow along
Facts. 🙄 ugh
Thank you. Bro isn't actually showing us anything. this is why I work with analog samplers, line in and line out. Fucking easy once you know
You have to know where everything is to make it easier to follow
this is the best tutorial
So gooooood crack
You the best my g
Appreciate you Yusef!

Your shirt! I love it (altho I was a bigger Martin fan than Gordon haha)
Dope
Bro... I literally have this EXACT sample from splice that I'm trynna turn it into a trap beat lol. Nice video bro!
Man you make it look so easy
Just a lot of practice
Actually thanks bro
hello dillon, congratulations for all the videos, keep it up you deserve more, I take the opportunity to ask you a question, why when I try to change the tempo of the sample, does the sample get shorter or longer?
Thank you bro. Have to click the sample and set it to stretch before changing the tempo. Then is will stop doing that.
Thank you bro
Thanks for watching bro!
Dude you made this simple as fuck man! Props for showing multiple methods and examples too! Think I’m ready to try my first beat with a sample of another song! 🙏
Dope good luck! 🍀
u made this so easy
you save my life bro
Niceeee
U giving out all the sauce mann 😭🤫
Wtf did I just watch.. I’m amazed how well informed this was

Bro you saved my career
🔥🔥🔥🔥 video
Appreciate it!
Another way so find specific samples is type the artist name that you want it to sound like mf doom ,50 cent, Nas,bigge followed by type samples
great video
Thank you!
The best sampling tutorial I've seen, but on the part where to eliminate the popping sound when I right click and select "Edit in audio editor" I don't see the circles. How do I get to that?
How do you stop edison from snapping so you can keep your chop in between those little circles? Mine just snaps from one circle to the next.
Did you have to manually highlight all the notes in the background @10:30 or is there any easier way to do?
Subbed!
Hey hope all is well, I was just wondering can you sample songs in the free trial? I tried sampling a song and the sound is not playing
