Interesting video. The Type 2 and Type 3 (SD660) look somewhat similar to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit SLRVs, even though the designs were built by completely different companies. I also find it interesting how MAX used rollsigns in the beginning on the Type 1, 2 and 3 trains, just like DART does, except that DART's rollsigns are still around (though hanging on by a thread as almost all of the Fleet 50, 51 and 52 cars, as well as random Fleet 53 and Fleet 54 cars have the LED signage (about 2/3rds of the 163 SLRVs)). Portland has always been a very transit-focused city, and I like that. Here in Dallas, even though we've got 93 miles of light rail, we're still building highways and upgrading roads.

Ive been riding the maXx sence i was 7 and ive never seen a max stop and go without opening the doors
