    I’m recovering from a wrist sprain and was considering wrist wraps for a while when I return to the gym just to have that extra support. Would you recommend the wraps for workouts that would normally put a lot of strain on my wrists?

    • @Gymreapers
      @Gymreapers  Před 2 lety +11

      Yes! Wrist wraps are commonly used by lifters that want wrist support to protect against pain or injury when training. They are perfect for bench press, shoulder press, low bar squats, and other exercises that need wrist support.

    Do lifting straps provide any wrist support on top of being used for helping to grip heavier weight?

    • @Gymreapers
      @Gymreapers  Před 2 lety

      Yes, our lifting straps have neoprene padding for your wrist, which helps prevent them from digging as you lift or pull. if you're looking for more wrist stability during push movements, we'd recommend wrist wraps instead.

      @@Gymreapers I'm looking more for aid in lifting heavier weight when it comes to grip strength but I would like a bit of wrist support as well. I was just looking into buying some of your guy's lifting straps.

    Will these work for pull ups? I broke a hand and never really let it properly heal

    • @thomasfisher763
      @thomasfisher763 Před 28 dny

      Lifting straps work pretty well for pull ups. Also lifting hooks work really nicely too they take even less off your hand,although I will say you should probably just let your hand heal up and hit the gym again. You may lose a little progress but you will get it back MUCH quicker than you gained it originally. Not trying to preach to the choir if you already do know this, but it's muscle memory. You can gain back progress that took years to get in just a couple months if you take time off for like an injury or something. I'd suggest just letting it heal and taking some time off, maybe just hit the legs for a while or something
