Volo is the reason why they implemented the 6-Pokemon-only rule.
Underrated comment, but it's true
True, although by a technicality, from spinoff XD, Greevil should be the reason they implemented “6 only” rule. Man is like Volo but half of his team is legends, too.
So true if in the Pokemon timeline currently, he's the character to use 7 Pokemons in one Pokemon battle if even when Ghestis counted although he wasn't the one to use this method first.

I love how even the game after the Origin Forme goes "You finally beat Giratina!" Lol
Can we talk about that opening guitar riff tho. Like holy crap it not only represents how raw Giratina said “nah bruh fight me again for real” but the leadup to it is so perfect.
And the fact that the kicks in this track are sorta doubled/echoed to give you that feeling of anxiety that is signature of the original’s heartbeat motif... So good.

I was spoiled that volo was evil and that he had Giratina as his 7th pokemon. As I got altered giratina to low health, I felt satisfied with the difficulty of the fight, but still annoyed I couldn't experience it blind. I was not, however, spoiled about the origin form transformation. I only had a yellow-hp garchomp left, so I lost the first time. I was genuinely shocked by the origin form, and the moment of its transformation and that glorious guitar riff now lives rent free in my head.

Okay, that Giratina was totally unexpected and I just dealt with a Legendary right after a full 6-team Pokemon battle, but I finally finished the postga-why do I hear boss music?

I soloed both of giratina’s formes with my alolan ninetales but I was not ready for it- tbh I was the scout of the game for my server and there were so many spoilers I had to keep secret, but I told them one thing- your souls are giratina’s.

I hope for a Legends game about Zygarde or Kyurem
Kyurem seems like the most likely candidate, since we don’t know what the Tao Trio’s (that’s what most people call the g5 dragon trio) original form was like, since they were all once one creature.
Doesn’t mean Zygarde won’t get one either. There can be a Legends game for Kalos as well as Unova.
I'm personally hoping for Hoenn! But that was just my favorite in general (and my introduction) so I'm biased like that. Origin Form Kyurem would be cool though...

Pokemon Legends Arceus was definetely the most fun I've had with a pokemon game since Gen 5 but it now makes me wonder how all the Gen 4 legendaries, which there are presumably only one of lore-wise, are available to be captured in the present if they were already captured in the past. Anyways, can you extend Rocketbarrel from DK64 Aacro?
One of the characters in the game actually explains this. Its because the Legendary Pokémon want to see what it is like to be with a trainer and then once that trainer dies, they will be free again to go somewhere else
Well, since the protagonist likely unknowingly traveled back in time, it could have been an alternate future (the Arceus game, not the original g4 games). Time travel is complicated, but I can see where your point stands and I respect it.

@@dragonblade-go6pe there is also the possibility that Arceus created more of them, since we saw him (or a piece of his power that he let the trainer obtain in the gen 4 games) create one of the trio in SSHG.
Your character doesn't live forever. Most likely, when they eventually pass away, their Legendaries get released back into the wild.
The only thing that could make this better is the little wind down the intro is missing before it goes hard with the rock.

The things that completely break this fight are the two myths of Sinnoh/Hisui dreams. Cresselia and Darkrai. Cresselia knowing fairy-type moves and Darkrai being a dark-type make Giratina kneel! However, things you do have to worry about is the fact that Giratina knows Aura Sphere and can knock out Darkrai in a single attack. And then it’s signature move, Phantom Force, completely destroys Cresselia. Otherwise, the fight with Giratina is easy with those two mythicals.

I struggled on Volo for a few days then I sent out Cresselia and it was surprisingly easy
I still CANNOT believe I won first attempt, tbh not by much but I still made it
Took me 15 tries
I won first try using only one max revive but my Sneasler never feinted so I didn’t even need that
I actually didn’t have too much trouble with this fight. Still had 3 Pokémon left after Volo and while I did use a max revive on my Porygon-Z, Sneasler never feinted against Giratina. Having Aerial Ace helped against the Shadow Sneak spam though.
I am going to prepare for this fight. How? Lots of Full Restores, lots of Max Revives and lots of Max Elixirs. Because I’m GOING to need them.
This was such a shock, I was surprised that I was able to beat it first try.

I think you're meant to destroy Volo's team easily, then Giratina is the true challenge out of it.
The difficulty here lies in Legends Arceus's unique turn order system making it difficult to outspeed and OHKO Volo's pokemon before they inflict too much damage, and you have to fight all 7 of them IN ONE GO, and Giratina getting a stat buff after you beat him the first time around?
I have to spam Shelter and full restores on my goodra to beat him, as Volo and his first form wiped out Ursaluna and Togekiss.
And all that considering I have maxed out the ELs on my whole team and got them to ~ level 72, except the one attack stat I won't be using (like Togekiss' attack stat)
Agile shelter is great.

Am I the only one who first tried this? I didn't do volo straight away after post game and cos it's so easy to level up, I was ridiculously overleveled. Despite that, I did only win with one Pokémon left, my Goodra.
I just did it last night with my team in the mid 60s. Maybe I just had the right team, but I found Volo and the Giratina fight not that hard.
I also managed to first try this, but I was only about Lv. 80
@@Shantae1188 I was about 83 or so off the top of my head. Gaining levels in this game was too easy.

As much as I don't like Pokémon Legends: Arceus I'll admit that this soundtrack is great!
I love Legends Arceus so much. I had a blast playing the game, but then I got to this battle and… yeah, I hate this battle. It takes the difficulty much too far. With the new Legends battle system, it’s expected that most battles will have the trainers take turns knocking each other’s Pokemon out. So if you don’t use items in battle, you’ll likely have one or two beaten down Pokemon left, only for Giratina to absolute take your team’s arse to school. I hate how ridiculously lopsided this is. The first part of the battle where you take on his team of six is great, but then you don’t get healed and then have to take on Giratina TWICE. I don’t like it, unfortunately. It’s just way too unfair.
Meh, not if you have Level 70+ Pokies and some good type counters. My partner's Typhlosion and Alpha Gyarados took Giratina down with relative ease.
Your odds are better than against Ultra Necrozma.
I prefer difficult bosses in Pokemon then extremely easy ones.
