- Hello everyone. My name is TAMA.
This time we made a Fujimi Porsche 917K Sebring.
I purchased this kit at a mass retailer, but it appears that it can still be purchased on Amazon as of November 2023.
The design may be an old kit, but it has been reproduced in great detail and is extremely well made. However, there were many differences between the box art and the instructions, so it was difficult to make the decals. Well, as usual, I was fooled by the production based on momentum.

Nice work. I'm building this one for a commission, and your video answered a few questions I'd had on it.
Its quality confounds me since I'm more accustomed to Kotobukiya, Bandai, and Tamiya models, but I'm getting it done to the best of my skill. You've given me a few ideas to work on. I see I need to refresh my putty supply for those void fillers and close the seams.

I had a hard time with this kit because it seems to be a very old design. But the finished product is great, especially the angle from the rear is a very beautiful machine. I hope you enjoy the build. And I made a big mistake because I didn't add any putty. But I learned a lot. Thank you🤗✨

The intricate shape of this machine's beautiful curves would have served as the basis for a prototype car. And the silver-based Martini stripe also exudes awesomeness.
I had some trouble with the photo-etched parts, but I think the end result is very satisfying.

Great video as always: keep up the good work! Let me shed some light on the hole in the roof mystery: it was an additional window meant to improve visibility in the banked corners (where you would have to look a bit upwards to be able to spot cars you are passing on the inside), used on the cars that raced the Daytona 24 Hours.

If you’re ever cutting the photoetch off of the runners and you don’t want the parts flying off and getting lost, you can lay down some tape, put the photoetch onto it, then cut the parts off. Beautiful job on this one. 👍
I see! That's a great idea. I was in trouble because I lost small parts like this every time. A considerable amount of search time will be lost.

造形に偏った拘りがあるからなのか、パテで埋めろ！カットしろ！穴あけろ！ランナー歪んてるけどどうにかしろ！とモデラーに丸投げするクセと難易度の高いモデル。ホイールの細かいデカールやデカールの上からデカール、フロントカウルの先端の拷問ばりのデカールetc…本当にお疲れ様でした。いつもながら綺麗な仕上がりに拍手です！

キットの内容や雰囲気からコレは相当古い設計なんだろうなぁ～とは思いましたが、やっぱり想像通りだったようですね🤔✨

Hello Tama. This one looked a challenging build and I can understand you feeling apprehensive at the beginning. There were so many delicate parts that could easily break.

I really spent a lot of time on this kit. I made a lot of mistakes in various places, but when I saw the finished product, I managed to avoid it and it became my favorite.

This is one of my favorite race cars, beautiful lines. Looks like Aoshima is a better kit to build as far as watching your builds ! Tack care Tama from the USA !
This kit was very difficult and I had a hard time. Building it according to the instructions would take a lot of time, so I omitted a lot of it.

作りやすいキットもいいですけど、何度も心折れそうになるキットとの戦いもプラモデルの醍醐味ですよねー。今回も楽しく見させてもらいました。ところで、ドライバーのラルースさんってあのラルースさんかー。歴史感じますね。

70年代のポルシェのレーシングカー。とてもカッコいいですね〜。ほんとにカッコいい。空冷だったんですね。ビックリ。ホイールのカラーリングセンスも凄いですが、タイヤサイドウォールの引っ張ったデザインがたまらない。完成品はリアからの眺めがヤバ過ぎるカッコ良さ。

毎度プロ並みの製作技術と動画編集に只々恐縮でございます👍917Kもガルフカラー、名優スティーブマックイーン駆る栄光のルマン仕様1/18ミニカー（オートアート製）は所有しております。（とてもじゃないが自分では作れないのでミニカーにしてます）購入したのは20年以上前になりますが、当時このマルティニカラーとどちらにしようかと大いに迷いました。当然、有り難く通しで最後までじっくりと拝見させて頂きましたが、思うことはプラモデルながらダイキャスト製のミニカーにも全く引けを取ってないということです👍👍尚且つこの細かな作業を撮影しながらと言う離れ技。いやいやホントに頭が下がります。ホントいいもの見せてもらいましたよ👍👍👍

遂にフジミ。よく完成に持ち込みましたね。ハンドル切れないとかはフジミあるあるですね。フジミはプラ製のガレージキットくらいに思わないとダメとよく言われますが、うちのMP4/6は製作半ばであちこち合わなくて放置中です。
屋根の窓のクリアパーツが余ってると思うんですが、おそらくバージョン違い出すのためでしょうね。

しばらくはフジミのキットは念入りにチョイスしようと思います😂
ダクトの接着は瞬着モリモリがよろしかったような気がします。瞬着は時間かかるけど固まった後はやせません。
なるほどぉぉぉぉ～！瞬着にそんな特性があったなんて知りませんでした。めちゃくちゃ勉強になりました！
今回の一件でタミヤのパテを購入したのですが、一度も開封することなく工具入れで眠っております😂 次は瞬着でやってみます！いつもありがとうございます。

I looked into the 1970 Le Mans winner 917, and it has a very nice coloring. The 917 kit was very difficult and I had a hard time building it, so I'm having a hard time building it again.
Actually, we have secured a kit for the Ford GT40. It looks like it will be a while before it is built, but please look forward to it🤗✨

僕は誕生日が9月17日‥エンジェルナンバーが917なので、この車には親しみと思い入れがあります。
穴埋めはパテを使わんでも、ライターなどで炙って作る伸ばしランナーと接着剤でパテ代わりになります。
同じキットのランナーならパテに比べてヒケが出難いので、上手く使えれば工程短縮化も可能です。
後は、瞬着+ベビーパウダーのお手軽瞬着パテとか…

ついついジャッキー・イクスを思い出す私。でも、このキットのドライバーはジェラール・ラルースなんですね。
後々、Ｆ１チームを立ち上げ、鈴木亜久里が１９９０年日本シリーズで３位になったのも、片山右京の
Ｆ１デビューも、スポット参戦ながら鈴木利男も野田秀樹も最初に乗ったＦ１はラルースでした。
特に野田秀樹がドライブした１９９４年のマシンは野田秀樹関連で日本企業が数多くサポートしました。

私もこの時代のレーシングマシンは存在こそ知っていますが、詳細は全く知らない状態でございます😅 まさか亜久里や右京でお馴染みのラルースがレーシングドライバーだなんて思いもよりませんでした。日本人ドライバーはとにかくお世話になりまくっていたんですねぇ。いつもリタイアしているイメージですが、こういうチームが最近のF1では見ることが無くなってしまったのも少し寂しいですね。

このキットは舐めてかかっていたので相当参りました。加工は多くチリも合わないので、もう手を出したくなくなりました・・・しかしこの年代のルマン車両の風格も捨てがたいのでフェラーリやフォードも作りたい気もします😅
娘は隣で私のスマホいじったり本を読んだりでリラックスできているようです。今年もカエルや虫の声を聞ける季節がやってきますね🤗

This kit had complicated assembly around the engine. Also, there were many places where the decals were different from the instructions, which caused me some trouble. There is a lot of work involved drilling holes and filling with putty, but I ignored the instructions and skipped many parts😅
I think it's OK as long as you build with some leeway👍✨
