This animations has several head directions, and the second one, apparently, allowed his vision to perceive you just for a moment before you climbed into the vent - enough for a hiss, not enough to hiss and investigate, and definitely far from screech and rushing. Something like that
Thanks for the analysis morriszombine. The head turning makes sense. Except it froze after turning then hissed while its head was behind the door frame. I've never seen this behaviour before. In any case this game will keep me busy for some time
Interesting idea. Closest best thing to Alien barbecue is Alien humiliation which is my game. Like you, I got frustrated hiding. My vids are inspired by feeling rebellion. Check out the ones with "shoot n Run" let me know.

That must have been an easy difficulty because you were seen twice and it didn't attack. Makes sense so you don't have to edit out a lot of deaths in the video I suppose
@@addydiesel6627 I think nightmare is easier but there is less hissing and just attacks. It would let you away with just seeing your foot or the side of your head for a few milliseconds though. You'd need to download the hard mod to get the realism but realism would be too frustrating. Or have it run non stop because it knows your in the area so why walk
