- Meredith, Owen and Riggs are stuck together in an ambulance, rushing to pick up a donor heart. While Meredith counsels Owen about his break-up with Amelia, Riggs learns for the first time that Amelia is an alcoholic. The surprise is evident on his face as he reveals that he once bought Amelia a drink, and she never mentioned her problem. But Owen has no room in his heart to give Nathan the benefit of the doubt, and he's enraged. Finally Meredith has to step in and tell them to put their fight on hold until after the job is done. Wow owen has no right to get angry, rigs had no way of knowing and even if he didn't give her the drink she would have got it else where in the vulnerable star she was.
Misplaced anger. He was worried about Amelia but he loves her and can't blame her. The worry turned to anger because its easier for him to process. Logically though, I'm sure he understands it.

@@thundercookie1014 exactly!! i mean really like the woman doesn't have enough crisis of her own but no she gets to be the one cleaning other people's mess too, solving problems for the rest of the world and always in the middle. Hell she even ends being the one getting shit from these people when she's not up to their expectations.

In all seriousness though, it wasn't Riggs' fault. He couldn't have known Amelia was an alcoholic. It really isn't even Amelia's fault. Addiction is difficult to control at the best of times but under the stress she was experiencing from Owen at the time? Yeah, he was the only one to blame here. Maybe Meredith too a little but mostly Owen. He had no right to be mad at anyone.
