Iceland volcano eruption offers "most beautiful" lava show

- Scientists descended on the area near an erupting volcano in Iceland's southwest on Sunday, as lava continued to pour from the crater near Fagradalsfjall, a mountain on the Reykjanes Peninsula since Friday.
Drone footage showed lava spewing from the volcano, as people showed up to film and enjoy the natural phenomenon. Scientists at the foot of the volcano even used its lava as a giant grill to cook up hot dogs as they studied the eruption.
The Icelandic Meteorological Office (IMO) which had classified the eruption as small, said measurements showed no volcanic ash had been detected but a high level of volcanic gases had been measured close to the eruption site.
"Here is the most beautiful thing that I have seen, this volcano," a member of Iceland's Search and Rescue team said. The volunteer group was at the site to make sure spectators were safe.

“Grill hotdogs on lava”
Sam finally completed his bucket list.
Maurice yeah kya chutiyapa hai
Honestly cooking a steak with lava sounds tasty or making homemade caramel with lava if that's even possible.
Today I saw an Italian making a coffee with a Moka on the lava. You're not a real Italian if you don't put a Moka in your backpack, and probably you're not a real Icelander if you don't put the hotdogs in your backpack as well :D
I wonder if they have a special flavor? Lava dogs taste like?

This country knows how to let her people free and making their own plan as long it is safe. Emergency services keeping an eye on the whole situation and makes sure that people don't do stupid things. Not that softy behaviour like we see in many countries. Holland for example!!

Lots of respect to authorities for being reasonable and letting people witness this amazing view, from a safe distance.
Not closing out the entire surrounding 100s of kilometers around in case of an 'eruption' that they know won't happen. Making unreasonable restrictions makes people break those restrictions, and endanger themselves even more.
