Hi boys and girls, welcome to my Assen Trackday report.
A while ago ICTSpecialist.nl invited it's customers to attend a trackday on the TT Circuit Assen, in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 Well, obviously I didn't have to think twice about that, so here we go!
The ICTSpecialist's CEO Marc Terveer is a real Petrol Head .. although I don't know if he has ever owned an Alfa Romeo but okay 😉 (©️Jeremy Clarkson-Top Gear). Anyway, he bought a Peugeot 206 GTI and had it modded for the track, installed a lowered stiffer suspension, race brakes, got rid of any ballast en fitted some nice Recaro racing seats. A fine recipe for some fun on the track!
So, past August there was this trackday on the TT Circuit and besides the Peugeot, there were also a couple of BMW's participating doing passenger laps with the customers and there was a Toyota Yaris GR 4x4 Turbo! Many opted for a ride so it was pretty busy! And it was actually bloody hot that day, being 32C ☀️
After some waiting I got to do some laps together with Marc Terveer in his Peugeot and afterwards also a couple of laps with a BMW 318 4 cil. and a BMW 328 M 6 cil.
These onboard video's I will post below these lines once I've finished compiling them. So stay tuned!
So enjoy this lovely footage of some very nice machinery this day on track, amongst them a classic Porsche 944 Turbo but also a Porsche 911 GT3-R, Opel GT Turbo and the Beast of the Green Hell Mercedes-AMG GT R !! 😎
