Having watched every single live concert video of Jacob his touring bands, this video is incredible to view. I have squinted, peeked, researched and reviewed each concert and here you have laid out clearly the behind the scenes magic that makes it all happen. The talent and inventiveness of each of the many players bring the experience to so many of us Jacobites around the world.
Having also made a deep dive into his video archive, I now enjoy hearing JC talk as much as I do watching him perform every instrument, like a mad genius!
Somehow Jacob never ceases to surprise us. Apart from all the amazing genius talent as musician, composer and performer we all know about, he's managed to transition his personality from being a bedroom recluse to being the ultimate team leader, band leader and facilitator. I remember his early solo performance in Shoreditch 2016 when he spent about 10 minutes at the end introducing every member of the team, praising them individually on stage, before making himself available to talk to audience members seemingly for hours. Here he takes his engagement to a new level not just by introducing us to the performers and tech team, but also his knowledge about how all the technology works and interacts across the stage environment. Just amazing!
Thank you so much for this video, it's great to know more about the team members and their participation but still I have questions. According to your tour schedule for Europe you will do 20 shows in 27 days wich is totally epic! How did you manage travel between cities ?(airlines problems, etc,etc) Because of Covid did you have to submit to restrictions again ? and finally how much the actual heat wave plus the wilds fires in Spain and Portugal affect the tour ? Because of all the problems in the world right now it is reassuring to note that it is possible to even carry out a project in the long term. It's a pleasure and very inspiring to follow your adventure M. Collier. Thank you again.
@@billB101 there’s so many instruments that each band members plays, plus mics for every member & 3 for JC. When you then throw a full drum kit and the perc that JC has, it all begins to add up. Plus all of the stuff that is being fired from laptops which I expect is ST
