The castle is from a quest where the player chased the Forgotten through a portal and when you went through the portal you could see the castle in the background.

My favorite conspiracy theory: all the passion lilies in FH appear red, until we pick them up, because the Queen of Hearts had them painted so I SO want characters (and furniture designs) from Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan, like, yesterday.
I haven’t heard the Queen of Hearts theory, but it did seem like a “bug” that had no urgency to get fixed. Maybe it wasn’t a bug after all.

Speaking of the Ariel table. I’ve heard if you gather enough resources when doing the quest you can craft multiple so that you can keep one for yourself. However I didn’t do that back when I did the quest I didn’t know. I just tweeted DDLV today about this and asked if they would either let us order from Scrooge or make it craftable again!

They did the same thing with Remy's dining kits. It's annoying, wish they made it known so we could make extra

I think the Castle is from another dimension that we can access through the Portal. Maybe a Mirror Dimension, just like the Valley but corrupted....or Skins that work too

That white bookcase is from Scrooge's store not the Ultimate Pack. I finally got it a few weeks ago. And that is a tub (like royalty used before plumbing was invented) and is furniture pouch exclusive. :) I think Stitch and Walle will be vying for Top Spot.
2:40: now, granted, I don’t fully pay attention to the game’s storyline. I find myself fast-clicking through a lot of convos. BUT, did we not see this castle when we entered through a portal chasing something that I can’t remember. (Was it a purple shadow of ourselves?)

I crafted two of Ariel’s crafting table during the quest just in case they wouldn’t give it to us and I’m so happy I did cuz now I have one in my house 🥰🤩
Maleficent lived in the Forgotten Mountain in a scary looking castle surrounded by huge thorns, she had a raven as a pet, she turns into a dragon that breathes green fire. How much more do we need to connect the Forgotten land in this game with her?

The mountain where Maleficent's castle is at is called the "Forbidden Mountain" not the "Forgotten mountain".
With the clock being the focus of the castle (it’s the only highlighted area) it screams Cinderella or fairy godmother, but definitely think there’s another surprise character(s) coming that we don’t snow
The green fire gas stuff is associated with maleficent. She is a good villain.
I suspect we're going to #1 upgrade our tools to deal with the fires and things in the Forgotten Lands so we can finally access those chests all over the place. In doing so, we'll #2 - unlock the means to go through that portal to visit our shadowy counterpart and unlock/free up the path to the forgotten castle. What's inside? Good question, but I feel like another tool upgrade is long overdue.
I'm worried that after the update, for some reason, we will need hundreds of empty vials.. lol 😂😅

Remember the quest Nature and Nurturing? The QUEST THAT BROUGHT SCAR BACK?! Remember after undaming the river in the mines remember the cutscene that show the forgotten entering a portal and you chased it through the portal to get another cutscene where THE FORGOTTEN DROPS THE ORB OF NURTURING AND SUMMONS A WALL OF GIANT VINES BEFORE THE CAMERA ZOOMS OUT TO SHOW THE FORGOTTEN ENTERING THAT CASTLE? The common they that it’s the here and there version of the dreamlight castle. Meaning THAT IT IS NOT THE SAME!
with the person who suggested maleficent, I guess she makes thorns surround the castle in sleeping beauty and her staff is green, like the decorations around the castle path in the picture for update 5

I can defiantly see why they are thinking Maleficent, but I'm also thinking maybe The Beast from Beauty and the Beast. His castle was dark and run down, thorns could be the roses that stopped growing, and I think that is a clock on the tower.
I was thinking the clock tower in the tweet was showing the date as the time for the release on 6/5
I'd love to have skins for the main castle for various holidays or seasons! That would be awesome!
We got a glimpse of this castle last story when we were chasing shadow and it ran into that castle but we couldn't go any further. That bookcase isn't from ultimate version. Yes, wish they would make skins for villager homes. No, it's a bathtub for Belle I think. I'm rooting for WALL-E or Stitch.
I think it's going to be some sort of mirrored valley maybe. It was capitalized as Forgotten that at least to me seems to be hinting towards our double, as many others seem to have said. They are called The Forgotten by us the player at one point if I am not mistaken. It'll be interesting to learn well maybe learn what exactly caused part of the ruler to splinter in a sense. Well, maybe more detail. As I recall the journal pages do clearly point to them struggling with something, and the ruler was making attempts to fix it.
Which somehow appeared to involve the orbs.
I just want that Cinderella fireplace.
If you zoom in onto the left side of the castle there are some letters or something in one of the bricks.

I think this is the place we visited previously upon following the Forgotten Avatar into the dark portal. I believe that portal leads into the forgotten mountain. Just a theory but it's fun to speculate!

This was in a quest , there was a portal and the forgotten was running away from me, to this castle, he lost something and after remove some rocks I could pick up the orb I had to plant from the sunlit plateau.
I did this today because I have been start all over again on a PlayStation, I was sick from all the crashes on the Nintendo switch.
So day one I played I got a white veggie stand from a pouch. I didn’t realize how lucky that was till I started watching CZcamsrs look for it and not find it

It says familiar but forgotter so its familiar because its like the main castle but forgotter because its further onto the forgotten portal you chased the forgotten to.
Before I got this I left my table in my inventory and just placed it whenever needed and then put it away lol
I'm guessing MAYBE we actually get to explore there in the other castle. That would be cool...
I'm not making any predictions regarding update 5, I don't want to be disappointed LOL. But quick question: What is the minimum trees I need to keep in Forgotten Lands to ensure all my wood spawns and do they have to be a certain type of tree? I saw your video on it, but was still a bit confused. If anyone can answer this, it would be great! Thanks in advance for any help. :)

I’m reading it as that we’ll enter the flip side world like we did before and this time enter the castle that we could only see in the distance. It’s a forgotten version of the familiar castle.

I'm thinking Maleficent takes over the main castle as a dragon and you have to go through the forgotten lands removing thorns/fire and change her back to normal form to wake up Aurora who's been put asleep in the main castle with the help of the three fairy godmothers Hence my theory before with the Pumpkin house.

This is really out there...here it goes 😂 When the Beast well turned into the Beast ...his castle became hidden...dark...thorns (but so did Sleeping Beautys castle) ok stay with me here...lol Maybe it takes Belle to have the love of Beast to change the castle back to happy? 😊 Well its out there ...feel free to tear my theory apart..( also Cinderella "races" down the steps of the castle when the clock strikes mudnight).

I think we could be getting an alternate version of dreamlight valley so we finally follow the night thorns version of ourselves I need to know what happens
At the time of Ariel’s quest it let me craft more than one of her crafting tables… so I made two, I kept one, and it’s fully functional and in my valley 😅 I’m not sure why we aren’t able to get craftable quest items after the fact though. I’m glad I made two when I did.

I think this is gonna be about us going into the other world. Like the equivalent of the upside down in stranger things. It feels like we can possibly travel between these two worlds maybe so we can explore that version and bring other lost characters from the forgotten realm. Because some way be trapped in a way they can't get back without us bringing them through. Or we actually unite with the other version which wasn't trying to do bad it just messed up and when it tried to fix things it made them worse.

I am hoping that it will be an alternate but mirrored world that will be inhibited by darker characters. Let's face it - A character like Jack the skeleton would seem so out of place in the happy valley.
I think that Maleficent is the cause of the Forgotten. Why not? She's the epitome of evil of all the Disney characters, and the Forgotten Lands are Maleficent designed. Perhaps she changed the Castle skin befitting her arrival? Maleficent is my favorite character aside from the Red Queen, and it would be great to have her in the valley.
except that would rip off kh1 since whole twist was she corrupted Riku into fake Ansem and unleashed the heartless on the world to increase HER power

God forbid we get SKINS for the main Castle. For me that would just be too much. It's bad enough people have to wait for potentially a half a year just to get one thing from the Premium Shop. How much would a Skin for the Castle cost? 10,000 moonstones?? Yeah, no thank you.

I am sure gameloft will fix Ariel's crafting station for us to craft anytime by the time it gets towards free to play. But I doubt it. I don't think it's a bug issue though.

Is anyone having issues with this game on Series X? When I go to audio settings in game & reset to default my game is buttery smooth & even the map cursor scrolls across so much faster but as soon as I walk into any house it goes back running kinda low fps or a little jittery. Reset audio again & back butter smooth & fast. Weird.

It's a fountain tile 😂😂 fountains contain water.. it's literally implied lol but I do feel they should make a different type of tile that's similar but without water lol

No, it is not that it is when we go to calls to get the orb box for scar, that is where it is and it is to do maleficent because think about it she’s our mother was a ruler, and we just left her behind with the creation of our souls because we just forgot about everything and everyone and that is why it is forgot to put familiar and also that is why it’s called the forgotten land because we forgot and we also forgot about all mother, maleficent, and the other part of us
