Can't believe this kid is fresh from acting school. He gave an amazing performance.
He is very similar to Joe Locke from Heartstopper - both launched their TV career with a Netflix show and both are just superb
We're excited to see everything he goes on to do next!

As a bi woman who fell for her best friend, the scene on the stairs made me really feel seen. I just wanted to hug Edwin so bad in that moment 🥺 It healed my inner child a bit. I am so hoping for a S2, I really want to see how their relationship continues.
That scene was a page out of my life. Maybe in every LGBT person’s life!?
I mean, not *everyone* comes out to their straight best friend and loves them like that, but it’s very common. It was amazing to see on screen.
George’s acting was fantastic, and their love feels so real 😭
I also especially appreciate, like George says, that the emphasis was on his unrequited feelings, their genuine love for each other, and not some hypersexualized thing that we’ve seen time and time again in media.

i noticed that edwin didnt blink a single time while the family was being slaughtered in the haunted house and i absolutely loved those small details, i really hope the show gets renewed!
how can one guy brand new to on screen acting who i dont even know and will probably never meet make me so happy
George is a great actor, Edwin is a complex, layered character and so central to the story. It is a humane, nuanced, complex and truly believable portrayal, 👏🙏❤
After all the mainstream actors who don’t care about the source material, it’s a nice breathe of fresh air to see this guy who did so much work in one of his first role. Really hoping that gets a second 2.

This is an INCREDIBLE INTERVIEW. SO MUCH DEEPER than normal interviews that are just promotion. This felt like a deep dive. Most interviews are like when stars make appearance on late night talk shows - which I find so dull.

True I live for this show I would absolutely LOVE a season 2.
i find it FASCINATING they consdered dying his hair blonde, because I admit i was a little disappointed to loose canon blond edwin only to find WOW that doesnt matter George is an amazing actor i cannot imagine ANYONE else in the part now. But... i would still be curious about a photoshop blonde edwin
But black hair and pale skin is a superior look🤩
He is such a talented actor, can't believe this is his first role. Can't wait to see him in more stuff :) Fingers crossed for season 2
Excellent interview. Inteligent and sensitive guy--and portrays Edwin extremely well. I binged the first season, and it was great. Was unsure during the first episode, but I ended up enjoying it a LOT.

I watched some of the first episode and unfairly judged it but once I actually watched it I retraced my statement and loved it sooooo much.
This is one of the very best interviews I have seen with an actor from a popular series, from both the interviewer‘s side and from the actor. Thoughtful questions, thoughtful answers, wonderful pacing (none of the hectic jumping right into the next question before the person has answered the last one completely in the mistaken opinion that this is „fast-paced“). Congratulations to everyone involved.

This is such an excellent interivew. I was very impressed with Rexstrew's performance as Edwin, and you can tell he's put a lot of thought into the character.

His nose seems to veer off slightly to the right. Was his nose broken or did it just grow that way? This kind of asymmetry is not so uncommon.
Blond hair would look very unnatural on him.
I love this show!
It clips along so fast, there's no time for anyone to get bored. Nice balance between manic and good story telling. My mate has a short attention span, and this is his jam - he pays attention so well. Usually I must amuse him with 20min animes; this show is a welcome diversion for us both.
