The LA native reveals that after splitting from her baby's father, Lil Fizz, and then briefly dating another rapper who cheated on her, Moniece wanted nothing further to do with men. Soon after, she found herself in a "full-blown relationship" with a woman.
Moniece recalls that it was great at first, as the woman was paying some of her bills and always took the lead when it came to the bedroom. I'd say it in this particular instance it was her own fault for knowingly dating someone who had never been in another same-sex relationship before her entire life and was clearly just doing it as a rebound relationship.

she seemed very flippant about the situation and I can understand why women who identify as lesbian would be upset. Okay, let's just kinda go down the list here...
1. Being gay is not a choice. It's the same as grass being green. We can dissect down to the chloroplast that gives the grass its color but we'll always ask, "Well why does the chloroplast make the grass green?" The answer to the question is: IT JUST DOES. "Why are people straight?" THEY JUST ARE. "Why are people gay?" THEY JUST ARE. "Why are people confused about which one they are?" THEY JUST ARE. Y'all see where I'm going with this? Now the choice is in whether to engage in sexual acts or not. A person can come to terms with their sexuality (whatever it may be) and CHOOSE to not act on their sexual desires. They'll be frustrated as hell but it can be done.
2. Being gay is not an abomination just because a book said so. Let's all be mindful that holy scripts were, too, written by man (I mean that figuratively and literally). A Bible didn't fall from the sky and hit Jesus in the head. A Koran didn't smack Muhammad in the face while he was meditating. Therefore, God didn't specifically write any of it. However, I do believe in their prophecies and that their visions of God used them as tools to help guide people. My issue is that the original message has been jacked up along the way, which leads me to my third point.
3. God does not hate the gays. Much like I said before, holy texts are mostly fiction when it comes to the claims of "direct messages from God". Everybody knows that God=Good. Many folks have quoted this in songs, movies, lectures, daily chatter, etc. You name it, people have said it somewhere. So theoretically speaking, if God is all things good, where does hate enter the picture??
Sometimes I think that the point of the whole conversation is that labels really don't matter. When do we stop hating people for the things that we don't understand and won't change anyway, and just start treating each other like human beings? At the end of the day, we all bleed red blood, right?
Well I didn't say anyone was born any kind of way. I said that it just is. No one is born with an awareness of their sexuality. You learn about what you like as you grow older. Some people have to experiment to see what they like and other people just know. While someone's environment may provide a mild influence on their beliefs and values, it does not change what is natural to them. Straight couples have gay children just like gay couples have straight children. And traumatic experiences are just that, experiences. They are not determining factors for sexuality, just little bad humps that people have to work their way through in order to cope with them. There are men who were molested as children by other men yet they are as straight as an arrow. So there is nothing that determines sexual orientation other than a person's natural feelings.
Furthermore, as I already stated, the Bible was written by man. So it really tells you what is socially acceptable, not biologically because homosexual relationships are seen in other species as well. And they are not as consciously aware as human are, which shows that they are following what is considered natural to them.
You guys correct me if I'm not following the conversation correctly.
Homosexuality being a choice is qualified as debatable. No one knows the definite answer so we can talk about it all day long and never come to any common ground. However, the same does not apply to genetic mutations. People who face mental and physical challenges since birth do not choose these things. They are the ones who are genuinely born that way, therefore I don't believe they have anything to pray about or ask forgiveness for.
And I just want to know if religious people who follow their holy texts literally avoid all other things that are considered sins (fornication, adultery, eating animals that they're not supposed to, etc.). How do you guys judge other religious people who commit these sins on a regular basis?
