P.S. King Limhi keeps talking to Ammon about these plates his people found in a language they can't understand and Ammon says that his king-King Mosiah 2- can translate them. These plates were found in the city of bones that were the bones of the Jaredites. That's what all of the book of Ether is. So you'll get more info on the Jaredites later.

I also really love how mom is more upset about the rudeness of the Lamanites than she is about the whipping or the beatings. :)

Definitely! ;'D It's so funny. I love it when she says it during Dateline or things like this where being "impolite" is really the least of their worries!

@@Trmmaryland Well back in the 1800s the Mormons practiced polygamy for a few years before stopping. So it's been like 150 years since then, but somehow that's still what we're known for. ;'D

@@jennhoff03 I like polygamy...but not any kind of religion idolizing a peasant from the past. I give thanks to the warriors, inventors, tradesmen, kings and the kings people. Ancient times were a dog eat dog situation religion was created to give people comfort of their passing

@@Trmmaryland You aren't fond of "peasants" but give thanks (meaning.... are actively grateful for) warriors that kill, tradesmen who take, and kings who oppress. My question is.... why? SOME areas of ancient times where pretty dog eat dog, ill agree, but they were dog eat dog...... because of warriors, tradesmen, and faulty kings who kill, take, and oppress. So... why are you allegedly in present time actively grateful for their transgressions, yet dismissive of simple peasants who didn't acquire funds in foul blood.
