The 83-86 fox bodies look the best IMO
There is pro's and con's to every platform - yes, the foxbody from factory is more of straight line vehicle but the engine swap and modified front suspension geometry made the car fun. Plus, you learned how to fix your car and it was cheap in the process.

Foxbodies are for drag/street racing they are light and hook it doesent take a lot of power to make them scream. 400whp Amd they are freaking monsters.

Actually foxbodys make awesome drift cars. There a few in az that blow 240s out of the water with stock bottom ends. Angle kits and all are out there and gaining momentum just gotta find the right stuff for how You drive....try building a 66 falcon to drift like I am about to do.....

People sleep really hard on the foxbody 5.0. It’s pretty easy to get 300-350 wheel with a nice cam, fuel, and carb upgrade and you can beat the piss out of them for a hundred thousand miles without opening her up again.
Prices for real clean examples are still in the $10000 to $20000 range, especially for the 90-93 models.
Oh yeah I was only talking about the engine itself. The Windsor 302. The foxbody mustang is a great car and all but too expensive for what it is IMO
Josh Ruiz don’t know where your at but here in Cali you can get a really clean notch for $8/$10,000 and get a nice running Fox from anywhere from $3 to $5,000 but he wasn’t lying about the angle kits there is only like one company that makes them and they are not cheap
I have 7 mustangs and my foxbody mustangs are worth more than any of mine including my 2012 Shelby GT500. A all original 93 5.8L cobra with under 5,000miles is around $1,000,000 in mint condition. The only one's that are more valuable are the 67 Shelby GT500 supersnake and the classic anniversary editions with low miles and all original specs.

Throw a turbo on it. Its carbed so literally all you need is a turbo, waste gate, some exhaust tubing and a fuel pump. Keep the timing low at 16° and rpm under 6000k and it should last a while.

There’s a few people offering kits for these cars. Jon Duncan/Steve mass alone offer 3 kits in 3 stages. Stage 1, 2, and 3 which is a drift only, no street driving kit. Jon Duncan even offers a bolt on kit that costs under $500 that I installed on a friends car earlier this year, no cutting, welding or drilling. Then there’s scotti D who offers 2 kits, one is a bolt on affair the other is a cut and welded kit. There’s FDF and there’s drift knuckles. So there’s definitely more than one angle kit offered for these cars and one one of them is under $500.

homie is too young to know that every mustang model is dramatically different. 4.0l Single valve has forged and balanced crank, forged rods, and cheap tune options. an exhaust (cheap h-pipe and CAI) . You replace the gaskets, fluids, and injector seats around 100K, troublesome but simple. take out some trim, free mod for weight reduction. You not have 240hp, 270 ft-lbs torque, 35 degrees toe angle steering, 6.5 degrees front camber with 20$ camber bolts. you just paid 11k$ for cheap drift-spec capable mustang. Get an LSD with that. All the mods you can do with a 200$ jack and some 20$ jack-stands. You just built a balanced v-6 American drift car... in your drive way.
BONUS: '07-10 models have updated cam chain cassettes. chain your oil with full synth 5w-30, on that cheap Yukon LSD... you beat the system. You have a simple, reliable, American, cheap drift car. Set your rev-limit to 500k, keep your coolant up-to-date, and you'll be track bound every summer, for the next 10 years, or 50k miles... whichever comes first. You'll change those cassettes and chains eventually. But outside of that one repair... HAPPY DRIFTING FAM.

Will it fit? Direct bolt in? What's the difference between sn95 and stock? 1991 mustang GT I need replacement it leaking out the steering shaft. I'm curious and if I wanna go with your suggestions.

You don't want to know how much of a PITA it is to mount recaro seats to a foxbody. My profi spg kinda does the same thing as you have to carve up a universal mount to make it work. While not as premium or comfy, Corbeau makes a decent seat/mount for cheaper that bolts right in and is solid.

They're going up coz most are in junkyards by this point or complete messes, so it's near impossible to find a decent mileage clean all-original body panel car ... just like anything that is 25+ years old at this point. Also, in general the economy has been doing good the past several years, so more people with $ to spend on toys will always drive up the prices across the board for desirable fun cars.

I'm a mustang nut!!! I would love to see you drive mine and say a mustang isn't for drifting. You have your mustang rigged up like a idiot. Mustangs have the light weight rear end and the best 9in rear end ever!!! The best American drifter won his championship with a mustang!!! You don't know anything in my opinion on your car's. A mustang 5.0 is always going to destroy a 350z on everything!!! I have a 91LX 5.0, 2003 cobra and 93 5.8L cobra that I will run against any import you or your friends have. Drag, drift, open road, what ever you chose = you lose. I drive mine and you drive yours pink slips on the line if you want. Kid there is a reason you had someone else drive your car on this video, because you can't. The driver of your car has more respect for it than you do. Stop blaming the car, and look into a mirror for why you can't drive. I have no problem giving you a chance to prove me wrong. But bring your title.
