Found all the mounting parts and brackets with hardware from a guy parting out his truck for only $50 I just purchased the bumper cover and it looks amazing now

Yea I wanna get rid of chrome, fix a rust spot on driver side door and paint all solid color (probably down the road thought) doing mopar reman first in about a week

Did you ever find out? I know there 10mm just need to know lengths, the two are longer by the fog lights, two in the middleof chrash bar are shorter.

Great info. I bought a 2022 ram classic tradesman single cab short box and my local dealership is useless for upgrades. I’m hoping this video helps me change out the bumpers from the stock matte black to a color match.

I run yellow fog LED lights, I love the rally look... but would love to see how you tint those fog lights... all I have left on my Ram is tinting the lights... any videos would help a bunch
I installed tow hooks on my 2017 Sport. You have to modify the height and sideways position of the hooks. HOW DO I SEND YOU A PICTURE OF MINE? Your hooks are installed correctly [the open part faces out]. I had to make special mounting bracket out of angle iron to get the correct fit for the hooks.
I made custom brackets to put the hooks on my express. Got the plans off of ramforum.

Man i have the sport BUT wish it was metal..i looked but couldn't find with low miles i bought a 2018 1500 only 68.000 miles so i jumped and yea i only payed $17.500 AL IN TT&L wich is a steal..i did the walk away on the guy lol

Great job! I know I need all those parts to do the right thing but what happens if i only put the bumper cover on ( without absorber and crash bar) will it fit and stay in place. Im not planning on having fog lights so I will adapt some kind of mash…. The country where I live is hard to find all the parts….

hey question i have a 2016 ram 1500 slt and want to do this to mine because i have the chrome bumper and grill and hate the look... my question is the harness you where installing for the fog lights, where do i get that? im not looking to do parking sensors
I was curious about the tow hooks how they gonna fit , but overall nice video like the bumper
I been researching the same issue. The holes in the metal bumper are a little lower than the sport. So if you leave them in on the sport. They rub the bottom. There is a post on Ram forum on how to make a special spacer bracket out of steel to adjust them a little but you still have to cut out the plastic with a Dremel. They do not make a panel for the tow hooks on the sport which is stupid cause mine is a 4x4 ver why would you not want the hooks?

Can you not just swap out the old bumper covers and swap in the new sport cover without changing the absorber and crash bar?
