It’s okay in my opinion. Not that good but not that bad. Crazy In Love, One Shot 2 Shot, Mockingbird, and Big Weenie saved the album for me.

The reason it wasn't as good as because he took off most of the leaked songs and of he didn't encore would've probably been great but they were replaced with songs he didn't take much time with but that's what happens when you leak music...

Encore was the shit! “evil deeds” is one of my favorite intros and I’m still bumping “rainman”.
Hahah rainman is such a stupidly fire song! I remember days when that “rainman” adlib would just pop into my head.
Encore might not be loved that much still to this day but you have to admit its got some timeless classics on it and id still rather listen to that whole album over music nowadays
He was still right though, he was saying that when his albums first release they dont preform that good but than later they are rereated and become mainstream, also at the time he recorded this (relapse) encore preformed really poorly and was being shitted on. Sure it didint reach the levels of illmatic but he was just over exaggerating.

The leaks and Eminem's response to the leaks were what destroyed an otherwise classic album. Some of his best songs are on Encore: Like Toy Soldiers, Mockingbird, Love You More, We As Americans, Rain Man is hilarious and the beat is great, Never Enough, & Yellow Brick Road. Fortunately we got to see this incredibly comedic/satirical side of Eminem exceed its limit on this album and ultimately hindered his career as it was too late to reel this tasteless side of him back in moving forward. It's still interesting to see the downfall of early Eminem.
