Monk Synopsis: Adrian Monk (Emmy®-winner Tony Shalhoub) was once a rising star with the San Francisco Police Department, legendary for using unconventional means to solve the department's most baffling cases. But after the tragic and still-unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, the devastated Monk becomes obsessive-compulsive. His psychological disorder has caused him to develop an abnormal fear of virtually everything: germs, heights, crowds... even milk. Monk's condition costs him his job, but he's back as a police consultant despite the unique challenges he encounters in his everyday life. These challenges lead Monk to hire a personal nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram), who is always there to offer her assistance, even with the simplest of tasks (like organizing his sock drawer). Her less-than-subtle prodding keeps the "defective detective" on track in his investigations, as well as in his efforts to convince Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) to allow him to return to the force.

Just now, I was watching “Ernest Rides Again” on Freevee, and I saw the Actress of Dolly Flint was in it.
I’d be grossed out too by how Sharona got Monk to leave so she could finish her session.😅😂
This episode is kind of based on a true store except the victim wasn't murdered. She had gotten into a car accident with her son and a random woman (not a 'psychic') who lived states away was able to pinpoint her location. She didn't even know the woman.

The knight of pentacles has nothing to do with romance, or things happening soon. It basically refers to working hard and being productive as well as patience. When in reference to romance it means a stable (if boring) relationship.
And the chariot doesn't refer to restlessness, but to overcoming adversity through hard work, being unstoppable. In romance it refers to overcoming a rough patch in a relationship.
Basically, this psychic isn't even good at being a psychic.

Nice episode. Unfortunately, there's actually no such thing as psychics. Otherwise, one of them would have had all right predictions on TV, gotten famous gambling/winning a major lottery or claimed the Randi Society's Million Dollar Challenge.

Some women in New York over 100 years ago became famous for being "Psychics". They got rich, but noticed things were getting out of hand. When they admitted they were fake people didn't want to believe them. They were some of the 1st "psychics" who made money from it in the U.S. They admitted it's all fake.
