One of these was delivered to me two days ago. Never ordered it and don't know who sent it or why.
Since I don't know who to return it to, I am going to keep it. Didn't come with an adapter plug, though. Only the usb chord.

You can use distill white vinegar to clean out the scale from the hard water. Use a 50/50 of vinegar and water and run it untill it starts misting again.

The way these work are buy using your skin as an evaporative surface area, that's why it's marketed as a personal a.c., this would never cool a small area much less a room. For these types of devices to actually work they would need a recirculating water pump/lines and a built-in evaporative surface area such as coils or wool fibers.

After a while when turned on, I find it very annoying, ear-piercing, this high pitched noise that comes from the mist holes. Does it bother you too? I don't know what to do to get rid of this high pitched noise when the mist is working.
