I have a few questions:
1. What would happen to the structural integrity of the building if it were to rain? Would it collapse?
2. What happens when the water goes green and stagnant after a few weeks, is there some sort of drainage system in place to easily/quickly drain the pool?
3. Don't you think you should build some sort of pool cover or maybe a fence around the top to prevent animals and debree from falling in?

I have been driving myself nuts wondering this stuff since I saw the first one of these. Seems like so much work for so little reward if there is no way to drain/clean.

It is beyond my comprehension how much work and effort this takes .just dumbfounded at your determination to constantly moving forward doing such tedious manual labour without crying/complaining etc. It is to me the greatest example and testimant of human will power to complete an incredibly hard project I've ever seen

This is the first guy I started watching do this wonderful work. I would seriously do anything to learn the way and live with them. I seriously want to sell everything and move there. That's true happiness. I'm stuck in hole in my life with hardly any happiness here in the USA. I don't want to be part of this society anymore
It's not done by hand. When the get that hole 3 times deeper than they are tall, they are hauling dirt out by hand up the stairs. 2 guys doing that would take forever. Either they have another 20 guys helping, or machines.

@@spazoq these lads take a few months to do each video. There is no heavy machinery involved because machines are expensive and labour is very cheap there. It's very common for people to do back breaking work in SE Asia that we in the western world would simply baulk at and think impossible. Labourers and farmers in these countries often take amphetamines so they can work though aches and pains 12 hours a day 7 days a week and not feel fatigued. These people have Siam facial features (I'm married to a Thai) they are very tanned so they are definitely working in the sun all day regardless of where exactly they are. They are possibly from near Cambodia (Laos is too mountainous)

I did realize one thing that makes it slightly easier for him to build all these amazing things: he doesn't have to break through rocks. And all the soil seems to be soft. Not saying it isn't hard work; just not extra difficult.

Not wanting to diminish what he is doing, but the pyramids are on a totally different level. Once you stood next to one of the stone blocks they carved out 4000 years ago, then abandoned because it cracked when it was almost done, you understand what dedication looks like. It would be really hard with modern tools to lift those and to put them on boats without sinking them. Back then they had literally nothing of the sort yet accomplished those tasks. It took them thousand of workers, and yet still decades, to build those pyramids.
