  • As a MCS approved supplier, we can supply everything that's needed, ensuring you comply with regulations, so you can sell the electricity you generate back to the Government by way of FITs (Feed-in Tariff Scheme). Contact us today to find out more about our Solar Photovoltaic systems and which is right for your investment.
Investing in Solar Panels makes good economic sense due to the return on investment (ROI). At Tudorsolar we aim to provide all the necessary information within our site to help you with your potential solar investment. There are many different types of Solar PV Panels and knowing which one will benefit your property depends on various factors such as - Size of your roof (how many panels can fit) Orientation of your roof (North, East, South or West) System type and combination of panels and inverters How much you would like to invest
Our service includes initial consultation, full site survey, full Investments/Savings/Returns calculations, complete applications for your utility provider (FIT's), help with any planning permission (if required (generally not needed)), full health and safety reports, itemised report on your returns based on the system chosen.
By investing in Solar PV (Photovoltaics), you are not only controlling your own investment, you are doing your part to reduce your carbon footprint and staying one step ahead of your electricity supplier and of course making money.

Those rail brackets are not a good match for the tiles. Need arched brackets that match the curvature of the tiles. Those huge gaps will be problematic in future.

12:05 tile is resting on the bracket? Tile should be notched on the back to allow the tile to fit correctly. Glad I’m doing my own install.

Tiles not trimmed over the brackets with angle grinder so they lay flat, rails to close so modules not supported see installation manual LG solar, inverter in loft to hot and customer will look at it, brackets not staggered over rafters so more weight on a few rafters.
does any one train the installers, NO.
Have a break and read the manuals.

I'd like to see more on what was done regarding Earth Fault protection, what surge protection if any, and how the strings were terminated into the combiner. Also depending on PV Panel type, if the Positive and Negative were both protected. I would expect a system of this size to have string measurement modules on Modbus such as Phoenix Contact SCK-M-I-4S-20A or SCK-M-I-8S-20A.

This system doesn't need earth fault protection from what I can gather unless you talking about the AC side?
Combiner box also not required. By the amount of cables I'm guessing it is a 2 string system. Quite likely a dual tracker?

Why we mount the module in Landscape? the clamp area must be wrong. it should be a weak point and can not withstand hight wind speed. also not follow solar module's installation manual.

    • @narekalaverdyan6790

Zhang Romeo , Mounting in Portrait is much cheaper and looks great as well, however, some customers prefer landscape, especially when it is triangle shaped roof. It looks more aesthetic.

Can we avoid batteries for storage and to provide electricity in nights or in absence of sun?
Not only it acquires potential share in the initial investment required to switch over to pollution-free Solar by public being reluctant to to any contribution to control Climate Change but use of Batteries is present age is shameful for Technologist 'to be there where they were' as for production of electricity is concerned, being as its primitive source Photovoltaic!

They should have chipped the lip off those tiles, they now sit anything but flush and could let water in. Lead flushing inside the roof!? what so the water can run down into the eves or seep through the insulation, waste of time. Metal flakes from cutting the rails will fall into the gutter causing it to rust, they should measure on the ground and faster cutting would be achieved with a circular saw through the soft aluminium.

No metal conduit, no grounding cable, no caulking on lag bolts? Guess this company probably doesn't supply a great warranty either... Wouldn't be surprised if it either caught fire or the roof started leaking in the first few years...
