Ich hatte vor einigen Wochen genau so einen Fall (Messerstichverletzung Hals mit Eröffnung großer Gefäße). Wir hatten zwar keine Israeli Bandage, haben den Druckverband auf sehr ähnliche Weise angebracht. Allerdings haben wir zusätzlich Hämostyptika in die Wunde eingebracht (Wound Packing). Ob es geholfen hat, tja, sehr fraglich. Der Patient war zu dem Zeitpunkt bereits stark ausgeblutet und kurze Zeit später im Herz-/Kreislaufstillstand. Eine zweite, sehr tiefe Eröffnung an den Extremitäten blutete von allein schon nicht mehr (Zentralisation). Letztendlich war eben auch kein Blut mehr da, was aus dem Körper hätte auslaufen können.

Hemostatic agents arent the best idea for those blood vessels anyways as the clots typically have to be cut out and the clots flowing either way (head or heart) can lead to death. Im sorry to hear that you went through that and it sounds like they weren’t in good shape anyways. thank you for everything you do.
This video was really helpful to watch, as alot of people in my country are dying from the string cuts of the kites, and practically no one knows how to give the first aid. It'll be really nice if you could make a video on, how someone can give first aid without these bandages

Beim Hals benutzt man den Bügel nicht, wurde mir bei meinem Sanitäter Lehrgang in der Bw auch so gesagt. Man nimmt den Arm des Patienten nach oben während der Verband durch die Achsel angelegt wird, somit entsteht durch des absenken des Arms Druck auf die Wunde .

Yes in case of neck bleading you don‘t apply the Israeli bandage in the way you usually would apply it. I can‘t exactly tell you why that is but normally you would also have the patient put up his arm (the one where the bandage is put under his armpit) and put it down again after the bandage is applied. In that way some extra pressure is generated on the wound.
Dieses Szenario ist doch wirklich so selten. 1. Szenario: Der Patient blutet kritisch aus den Hals und braucht Kompression und dann hat man keine Israelibinde dabei weil man nicht mit dem RTW ist 2. Szenario: Man wird alarmiert und kommt 5 Min später an den Einsatzort. Dann ist der Patient entweder schon aus, die Blutung ist gestillt oder die Blutung war gar nicht so schlimm. Ich würd mir gerne mal nen realitätsnäheres Fallbeispiel wünschen, mit dem man wenn man wirklich First!!-Responder ist und es sich um sekunden handelt, helfen kann. LG

Con 13 años me tocó vivir una experiencia dolorosa con un familiar, solo he de decir que el corte y posocion eran similares, al no poder llamar a una ambulancia mis vecinos ayudaron a mi madre a sacarle entre mantas hasta subirle en un taxi para transportarlo al hospital, pero durante todo el proceso nadie se preocupó en tapar la herida porque todos desconocian primeros auxilios o quizá yo no lo ví, sucedió todo tan rápido. Ya en el coche, él estaba tendido en los asientos de atrás, y como era una persona alta su cabeza estaba doblada como tocando el menton con el pecho y eso eviataba que la herida se abriera, de alguna manera fue como ponerle un tapón. Yo que estaba en el regazo de mi madre en el asiento del copiloto, volteaba a verle y recuerdo que sí se podia ver esa herida, era demasiada impresión para mi. Mi madre intentaba evitar que yo le mirase, pero yo si le veía. Y durante el viaje ambas llorábamos porque pensabamos que no sobreviviría. Tardamos hasta 30 minutos en llegar a urgencias o quiza más por el trafico, no lo recuerdo bien. Pese a todas las dificultades mi familiar sobrevivió 🙏🏼. Hace mucho que no pensaba en esto, pero hoy tuve un viejo recuerdo al ver este video y me hizo recordar lo traumático que fue para mi🥺

wieso hat man die Traumabandage nur auf dem RTW? Ich habe in jeder Erste-Hilfe-Tasche eine und sogar in meiner Arbeitstasche ist eine drin.
