Alen Islamović, on par with any of the greatest rock/metal singers in the world. Too bad his career took a very different turn not so long after this, but he was born for heavy metal. Even nowadays, at 65 years old, his voice is immaculate and fully preserved and can belt it out like 40 years ago.
Wstched him last summer in Prokuplje, Serbia. Full square. Alen really rocked as in Divlje Jagode, sung also that song. Band and him sounded like on record. Was shocked by reaction of younger audience, atmosphere like at Iron Maiden gig few months before 🤘 Many ppl spitted on him on social networks, called for cancelling but ppl didn't listen to haters, was crazy rock evening 😊🤘🍻
Man I love the Bosnian metal scene. We truly have some underrated bands out there.

Try out , "Atomsko Sklonište" band, for example "Ne cvikaj generacijo" track. Keep up the good work.
I mean, this is after they commercialized their sound. If you want to hear some authentic hard rock and metal, listen to their first heavy album - Stakleni Hotel. It is much better than their more commercial work. This was one of their bigger hits, I think this was right before they were signed by the UK company Lego Records.
Drugi means second. but "Drugi Svet" means something like Afterlife World, Svet is the World

Drugi means Another but when he says: "drugi svijet" it means to another world. In this case it could be heaven or hell. But if you want it you can hear English version of the song recorded in London 1986.

Actually Angel in white has some "sleazy lyrics" which is really different from the original meaning of the song.

Yugoslav rock/n roll is unique! All other rock music, wherever it's from, is similar to English or American - YUGO-ROCK is a damn good music category that never succumbed to the desire for world domination - or at least equivalence. What an American/Canadian can hear with his ears is only half of the understanding of BALKAN MUSIC, WHICH IS A PRODUCT OF THE FREETHINKING BALKAN MENTALITY.
Listen to RAMBO AMADEUS, translations of the lyrics and... and read a LOT of educational books about the Balkans to understand anything at all - or anyone else
