I never knew Winx lost so many times in her career before she went on that unbeaten run of wins. That First Seal beat Winx 3 times, whatever happened to that horse?
Winx ran 2nd to First Seal twice. First Seal also won a 3rd race involving Winx where she ran 5th. It (First Seal) also ran 2nd in 2 further races involving Winx where she ran 5th & 7th respectively. I'm a big fan of Winx but ⬆is why I rate Black Caviar #1!
Gosh she was a great horse It’s just a shame she raced in such a weak era in Australian racing. It really does detract from her legacy She was beating moderate horses Hartnell and Happy Clapper in 2016 and still beating the same moderate horses in 2019. Why couldn’t Australasian racing produce other horses better than Hartnell and Happy Clapper from 6 or 7 crops of racing age in that period.

It's amazing how much better First Seal actually was before the injuries happened. She seemed levels above Winx and every other filly there
Because they knew they had to educate Winx she was always going to be a fantastic horse they had to be patient with her

Winx wasn’t even close to her best as a 3 year old
Neither was as good at 3 as Delicacy
