I got one of these when my grandparents died 10 and 12 years ago. They had only used it once or twice, so it was like new. It sat in my storage for 10 years before I ever tried it. Now I love it. I notice yours is missing a piece mine has...or maybe you just don't use it. There is a plastic liner for the pulp container. I find it easier to just lift it out and toss the pulp, keeping the main piece clean. I find clean up to be pretty easy, actually.

watching this in Aug 2020 because I have this juicer and was thinking of spending more money to get a new "better" juicer. I don't think I will. My juice tastes great and I'm learning that the pulp is often like this one in many more expensive machines. Plus I do ginger all the time and have zero issues. Love my juicer and think it will live on my shelf a little longer yet. haha

I'm very happy with my Braun. I choose it over the Jack LaLane anyday. Amazingly, my Braun juicer leaves the pulp more dry than my Champion juicer.

I think it is more efficient to skip juicing the greens in this juicer -- and instead put the carrot-apple-celery juice in a blender and then add the parsley and spinach and blend on high! Then you will get ALL the goodness of the greens in your juice. :)

Only problem with that idea is that the blender introduces a lot more oxygen, and oxidizes the fruits and vegetables more, so you lose nutrition in that sense.

Well, I guess either way you lose something. Somebody's are needing that fiber more than others perhaps.

bought mine new years ago made in germany like most braun products were back in the day, used it a few times but put it away for years. now my health is bad and i'm going to use it like crazy now.

Thanks for this! Someone gave me one of these juicers for free... they bought it years ago and never used it. I figured it wouldn't work well for greens, but this video saves me from wasting greens trying it out. :)
I have a z-star hand crank juicer that works well for greens... i guess i can use the mp80 for everything else until I can afford to get a green star juicer. :)

Seems like it is okay juicer for the right price,but it is always better to spend little more money on the juicer and get a better result for juice.

disculpen mi humilde comentario pero para q kieres in. xtractor Cuando solo Basta una licuadora q no separa la fibra del jugo la fibra es muy importante para nuestros cuerpos por q decechar lo important no sigan el juego a los q solo kieren nuestro dinero comprate una Buena licuadora y podras hacer jugos y salsas margaritas y todo lo q kieras sin gastar mucho dinero ponte listo no te dejes emgañar tu dinero no te lo regalan

I noticed year 1980 the stupidity of the fact the color is white ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and oh my gosh now we have 2023 !!!!
Those who do not get it the color will turn into orange thanks to the carrots !!!
