I’ve been unconsciously putting this on loop before going to sleep the past few days. I don’t even know how I found it one day it was just playing on its own. I can’t explain it but it just clicks with my current emotions and helps me sleep, it’s so soothing.
I love how empty my thoughts become, it makes it so easy to focus on real things while listening to this.

I wish.... I really wish I could share the beautiful emotions I feel from this with someone. I lay in my bed, and the time is 2:44 AM. I rest my head on my pillow and gaze into the nebula above me, sinking softly into old, forgotten, borderline liminal memories. I am somewhere else entirely. A tear trails from the corner of my eye. It's wonderful. I turn my head only to see......nothing.
There isn't a lover to share this moment with. I had imagined such experiences with many, many others that are no longer around. Within this emptiness, I am left to confront the enormity of my mistakes, and to bathe in the regret that bleeds from them.
Maybe there is beauty in this loneliness. Perhaps I should feel grateful to have these experiences with only myself. Part of me is. But this empty bed shakes me. Rattles me. Wants to swallow me whole. I probably deserve it. In the meantime, I'll think of that place. Silent Hill....... my love's hand in mine.
