tldw, this clock is REALLY good, i have some slight issues with it in terms of the speed and the set up issues. however, i'm overall enjoying my solves with this clock. my review/opinions may change dependent on if i actually do well/enjoy the comp tomorrow lol. ill upload another video or pin a comment if my thoughts change.

@@Tito_decorazon7771 i have heard some quality control issues, but i dont think theyre the end of the world or a consistent pattern in any case. if there is a issue you should probably report it immediately and they'll give you the necessary compensation.

Why lube the inside of outer casing instead of real friction points of inner casing?
What do you mean when you say old batch vs new batch? Are you referring to different batches of 2020 version or is 2020 version the old batch and 2024 version the new batch

1. i did end up putting lube in the inner casing, but i tend to avoid it because it fiddles with magnet strength and i run the risk of putting center and corner clocks in the wrong spots
2. old batch was when it first released in 2020, new batch are just regular qiyi sold early 2021 - now, hope this was helpful!

I bought it and I tape coded it and lubed it. I did keep in the nuts and not the screws because it was too lose. The only thing its so loud lol.
I just got mine yesterday, and I feel like it's better, but not worth the upgrade if you already have the original.

Carter, my le clock broke and the pins are not working correctly. The clocks that aren't supposed to move when certain pins are up move and I have returned the puzzle. Should I try to get another LE, or should I just settle for the Pi clock since a bunch of wr holders use it?
it really depends, if you liked the le you should get it because it’s cheaper than the picube. but if u didn’t like the le, and you want to try something different, splurge for the pi mod if u have the budget to do so.
@@cartercubes lol, the magnets for the pins fell out so I superglued it and now the clock is good.
I did the anders mod on it and it looks like a fuecoco clock now
I got this for a comp and it did not come in time; but the day before the comp, I went to the cubicle with my friend and got one. Since I had another coming, I decided to anders mod it even though I have never done that before. I lost so many magnets so the next day when my other clock came I fixed it. I am actually so glad I got 2.
I would do it on mine but I broke my old QiYi doing it so I’m not taking any chances 😂

Why did you tape the edges of the clock? The color keeps it together, right?
no, the plastic case is loose without the tape and i don’t use screws

Yes it reduces the friction
the pin magnets are way too strong otherwise its a great clock after setup
yeah I took the rings out and put regular pin magnets inside the pins lol

My LE clock turns great, the pins is just absolute trash. I could not turn at all even though I did like 150 solves.
