Most of the OW community is nice, and that includes me: I have over 250 hours in Overwatch, and 165 hours in Paladins, and I can tell you that the OW fanboys that people see are actually only like less than 1% of the community. Anyone can see this game is different, and fanboys just make the community look bad.
In reality, nearly all Overwatch players easily accept Paladins as its own game.

First I thought it's just a reaper copy but this hero is actually pretty awesome.
I like him, seems like he will play very similar to Thanatos in Smite given his execution and high single target damage.

Edoan Rodrigues you must be very sad not to have seen the star wars clone wars, or blade, or the matrix. Dual wielding black guy is a popular class, Lucian has an SMG but okay. And how does an auto lock ability become a Peirce ability. You probably iron man ripped of bat man because they are rich orphans, or all anime with a 9 tail beast ripped of Naruto. The Overwatch vs tf2 rip off fiasco has made everyone forget that we have a certain amount of preset stereotypes for classes, now we all go blind and shout rip off everywhere
The difference is that LoL fans are cool and they don't care if they see something that looks similar to a LoL champion, but Overwatch fans are just a bunch of rabid fanboys that need to be neutered.
Reinhardt is *extremely* similar to Braum, to the point that he has the same voice, personality, and _even the same exact ultimate ability._ But you don't see any LoL fans calling him a copy because they are actually cool.

I like the hunter bounty hunter idea for a hero being worked into the game, but it does worry me that it may cause players to focus on other targets rather than ones who are being more damaging to the overall objective

Is it me or is the desintegration effect upon killing with his ult kind of meh?
The body just being where it was dissapearing like that is just, super underwhelming, maybe removing the desintegration or making the body get pushed back or take a new pose while disintegrating would look/feel so much better.

As much as i don't like paladins, I have to admit that the target mechanic is actually pretty cool. I can see something like that being used for an assassin for hire type character in other games, and i'm not talking about just overwatch.

his dash doesnt go far enough and his "in pursuit" lasts a very short time
Jewish Lizard his Dash distance can be increased with cards, and the pursuit is for poking enemies in the run
His dash distance can, indeed, be increased with cards. Not to mention it only has a 3 second cooldown. Also the fact that his in pursuit doesn't last long is a good thing since he is vulnerable for a shorter amount of time.
The first comments I see on these new champion videos are always ones trying to tell people "It's not a copy" but then I can't actually find any comments saying that "It's a copy" while not being a joke.

Lex, the distant bastard child of a night-long orgy between Lucian, Reaper, and Captain Rex. (I think Shrek was also involved in this somehow..)
Lex wields his pistols like Reaper, has a policeman theme like Pharah and slides like Lucio's movement. This looks very cool!
He looks like Blade. Which isn't a bad thing.

I'm trying to be cool by joining retarded people that are saying Paladins is a ripoff of other games.
So lucian walked into a portal on the rift and was transported to Paladins. In this portal, his mind was wiped and all his abilities were swapped around and he also got Kindred's passive. I actually like this guy probably gonna main him now after Viktor, Androxus, and Tyra.

If the an enemy is marked, and that enemy has invisibility activated, can you see him while cloaked? also I see Grover as a potential counter, as well as Inara

I'm not usually one to bring up what character looks like another character but damn this has got to have had a little influence from Lucian.
But character originality hero shooters, MOBA's etc etc is difficult these days, there's bound to be similarities.
