    How did you convert from cm to mm
    Cause me when I converted it was giving me =0.00012

    • @KevinOchola
      @KevinOchola  Před 5 měsíci

      Hi! If 1 cm = 10mm, how about 0.012cm ? So we end up multiplying 0.012 by 10 to get 0.12mm. Please let me know if this helped 🙏

    Great teaching skill.
    but please why multiply with 0.01?

    • @KevinOchola
      @KevinOchola  Před 4 měsíci

      Hi! Thanks for the compliments. 0.01mm is the least count (the smallest change in measurement that can be obtained from the instrument). Multiplying with 0.01 helps account for any small change in measurement thus giving more accurate reading. In fact, that is why micrometer screw gauge is considered more accurate in comparison with other instruments. Please let me know if this response helped.🙏

      We add thimble scale reading to sleeve scale reading. Please, let me know if this helped.

    Why was it 5.5o instead of 5.60 since those numbers down are 6

    • @KevinOchola
      @KevinOchola  Před 8 měsíci

      Hi! Those are half mm marks and those on the upper part are the mm marks. So, we count the mm marks and add 0.50 mm to get the sleeve scale reading. Please let me know if this helped
