I thought I said how many trees I used but I only mentioned the 1 at the top and the 6 on the lower portion. Sorry about that! I used 17 trees total! 1 at the very top. 10 as the main base of the tree touching the pipe and the 6 on the lower part of the tree to make it look fuller. I then used 3 garland pieces to give the tree more shape.

Did you put a coupling in the middle of your tree for storage purposes. That way you can store two 3 foot sections instead of a 6 foot tree

Bethany…loving the Christmas Tree, it’s like a green puzzle… 🤗 About the LED lights when you said ‘Less likely to catch on fire’ 🙋🏻♀️ made me think of my mom because she said when she was a little girl they only used candles on their tree (didn’t have electricity) so while it was lit, one of the children had to sit there with a bucket of water in case it caught on fire!

Yes ! I use the garland to fill in my old tree that’s shedding needles so it looks fuller . When it’s decorated it’s pretty 👍every year I say “ at the end of the season we will bury a new one when there marked down . Been saying that for probably 15-20 years lol. Your home looks lovely ! I use fairy lights too . Love them

You sld take some of the dusters and put around the bottom of the ginger bread man tree. Maybe put something in the galvanized tree skirt then put the dusters on top to make it look like snow under. Everything is amazing! Thank you for all you do for us! 💜💜

These were fabulous decorations and hacks I love the pencil tree that would be perfect for a couple of rooms in my house. My house is small and on holidays when everyone comes it feels smaller.

Sometimes our DT gets things in a lot later than some stores. You did a great job with the pencil tree and for years I have used garland to fill my trees in.

I saw those snow flakes today and didn’t buy them. I got a girl and boy gingerbread plushies. I got the same wrapping paper and clear wrap, and some pool noodles to make some candy.
I use mini ornaments and make grape shape clusters of red, purple and maroon and greenish color. Done gold and silver this year to add to my color collection. They are so beautiful hanging in a cluster from the beach of the tree. It looks like grapes ready to be harvested.
I am working on peppermint ornaments. Using clear glass ornaments and pouring red and white nail polish in them and swirling it around a marbling affect occurs.
It is beautiful; no ornament is the same.

Loved your hacks!! My son bought a house that is less than 900sq ft. We thought we would get him and his wife (11/20/21) a pencil tree so that they could enjoy it, and would take up very little space. I found one at Walmart for $30, but with all the shortages going on all the inventory sold out quickly. I can’t even find it on the website. Your tree hack is perfect in the event that we can’t find one for them. Thank you for sharing.
