    Very honest and very humble artist, yes the struggle is a part of the art process, sometimes it gets very tiring and make you lose hope… but the fight of trying and trying makes you more stronger and your art becomes more powerful,

    What an honest and charming guy! I love his honesty and his wise comments about art and artists. Great artwork! It has inspired me a lot! Not many artists are able to talk about themselves and their work with this level of unattachment and truthfulness.

      And yes, Daniel is awesome - I couldn't find any videos of him discussing his work, so decided to visit him in Prague to produce one myself.

    While I am not a famous or prolific artist like Pitin, I can relate to much of what he has expressed on the video. It is so comforting to hear another artist speak of the process. I have never spent the time to think about what painting and its process made me feel but by the artist sharing his feelings and thought, I think he helped me better understand the angst that I often feel. At least now, I am aware of the "circle or cycle," which I too experience.

    I can not express how thankful i am for this beautiful interview ! It hit me ecactly in the right moment of my weird artistic life ... though i am busy with very different questions and things in painting, i mean different from pitin, i completely understand him ...
    -
    pitins true interest in light and space is essential and his highly "resoluted" way of reflecting is ... as deep as simply stunning ...

    Nice pieces. I think there is more philosophy of life, and this is hard for majority people.

      What is your question?

    • @위클리튜브-g5b
      @위클리튜브-g5b Před 5 lety

      On Doubt I think his painting is very similar to the color of Adrian Ghenie's painting. Is there a connection between the two?

      I'd argue that subject matter, but also use of material are quite different for each of them - the latter you might only realize when standing in front of the actual works. Afaik they know each other, but that's as close as I'd connect their ouevres.
      European master painters!
