i never thought i liked this song until i really took the time to listen to it and i'm pretty sure it's possibly the best matchbox 20 has, it's even more incredible live. i love this band with all my heart. (:
rob thomas is blessed with such gifted voice. he very technical yet original when it comes to singing. i dont kno how he is when it comes to deliver the percise pitch and high and low notes since i aint no musician but i never heard anyone sing like him, not to mentions all his songs are freaken addicted!
i agree that matchbox 20 arer better live, but i prefer how on the recorded version of this song, there is a choir in the background for the last third. it sounds much better. this is still a great song either way!
@belziebub yes, it is called forgiveness. acceptance. believe in second chances, and mercy, but also be strict and believe in justice and rule-enforcement. be two different things, but the difference is, you have to know when to be which
@belziebub see if they feel guilty. i know you want vengeance, to avenge their pain, but if they feel guilt, if they feel bad, an even worse punishment: force them to live. they'll live haunted, they'll live with their conciense (spelling?) bugging at them "You feel bad for doing wrong," and combined with that, 'cause they were thrown in jail, it's gonna follow them 'round for their life and make it more miserable. i do not know where i heard this, but i use it now: "Thinkg twice, act once."
guys, belziebub is either a troll or a crazy stalker. i've seen her around other youtube videos and even on rob's imdb message board. just ignore her :)
@belziebub torture is worth than the death penalty. but, [sigh], if you wish to be selfish, and inhumane, and bring something on them that will happen whether you get your wish or not, then fucking fine by me. so much for intelligence. there's less and less these days.
Has anyone ever had to reach deep within their soul and find a way to be the "savior" of someone who has really harmed you? If so, how do you find a way to get past the pain in which the person inflicted upon you and find it in your heart to save them?
@GoWithTh3Flow or eat some yogurt pml. I am still trying to find the strength to save this person-- his being psychotic does not help- I wonder if it is time to just pull the plug on my friend since he hurts me all the time
