If you play team of 2 it will make you go to team matchmaking and there will be either trio team or duo team vs you, and one player can't join this matchmaking, there is why battle isnt starting

Some problems I have with Ranked atm:
1. No penalties for exiting a match during the ban/pick phase, causing everyone to be booted if even one person leaves. Idk why this is even a problem, the solution they went with in Power League worked well enough
2. No reporting. This means teammates are free to grief and exit in the middle of a match all they like. The reporting system isn’t just broken, it literally is not in the game
3. Trying to play ranked as a team of two is impossible. I’ve tried it with someone else on two separate occasions and it stays on the matchmaking screen for eternity. We tried for like 10 or 20 minutes before we gave up. Then when I try queueing up by myself, it lets me in a match super quickly. Doesn’t make any sense
4. The modifier which destroys the map is super boring. What ends up happening is that 1/4 of all matches are just a blank open field with no notable characteristics and I’m already tired of it. It’s worse than classic because at least you have a different map with classic
5. The speed at which you climb and fly through matches all the way up to Diamond feels really nice, but then it slows to a crawl once you hit Diamond. This isn’t because of a spike in skill level, either; it’s because you earn half as much per match (50 vs 100) for three times the time investment, as each match with draft is actually two or three games in one. Not to mention the significant losses if you actually lose. They need to multiply the gains and losses per match by a factor of two or three for this to be worth the time of anyone who doesn’t do brawl stars for their job
6. Matchmaking is much worse than power league. Power league had a separate solo and team queue, so you wouldn’t be paired up against a 3-stack, but that doesn’t exist here. It’s not much of a problem in the lower levels, but upon hitting the upper levels of diamond the disparity becomes pretty obvious when you and some possibly-maybe-potentially-skilled randoms are fighting against a coordinated comp that is possibly in voice chat or are physically next to each other. Again, this is a problem that power league did not have
7. This is anecdotal, but in all the ranked drops I’ve received so far, I’ve gotten 7 drops of 100 bling and 1 drop of 250 bling (have gotten to Diamond 3 so far). These are WAY worse rewards than Power League for a lot more time investment. Maybe it’s because my luck is bottom-tier, but it could also just be that the good rewards of the drops themselves have rates that are too low. You only get 12 a season if you are top level, after all
And these were just the major ones off the top of my head. I actually quite like the idea of modifiers, but I’m not so sure how it will hold up competitively in the long run. Definitely makes the mode feel more fresh, excluding the extremely boring one I mentioned earlier. Overall, I really like the idea of ranked and the promises of how the mode should be, but it has a lot of minor but significant problems which pile up to make the mode a very flawed experience atm. Despite my complaints, I’m having a lot of fun in the mode right now. I just wish they waited like a month and released it in a more polished state

I agree with most of this. Especially the start drops being (probably) broken. But matchmaking IS programmed so that you will always face opponents in the same group queue number as you (1+1+1 v. 1+1+1, 2+1 v. 2+1, 3 v. 3).
i took my time to read all of what you said and i gotta say i agree with everything you said,it's also unfair how the points you get are random,for example you can be star player and win which will sometimes give you a ridicolous amount of points like 5 or play terribly and gain like 100,same thing goes with losing.

Ranked is everything, but its surely not competitive. The starr drops are honestly bad, the profile icons are the worst feeling to get.

I've opened 6 Ranked drops and got 100 bling four times (worst reward) and the 2 Mariposa piper icons (will never use them - Mariposa Piper is overrated)
6 hours of grinding for nothing...and everyone now has Marauder Maisie. Back when the skin got released everyone hated it. But I grinded for this skin and it was my first PL skin. Now everyone has it and they like it. So I personally like rare drops more than ranked drops.

This isn't ranked or even competetive mode. But more like Mystery event? Random map, random modifier. It's very similar to the mystery mode durning season 14 but with cosmetic rewards. Some brawlers are very meta just because of this.
Supercell be doing the most but every update there’s a bug that’s game breaking. At this point it’s annoying at hard to keep going along with this.
Instead of adding a hyper event everyone has been waiting for and not letting us play it, id prefer to just wait a bit longer and actually play it

I pushed 2 accounts to Diamond I and this is my impression:
- Good: Bronz-Diamond super fast matchmaking, fast rounds, fast progress.
- Bad. Diamond and up old system, takes forever, have to win 2 rounds and only same progress than before for only 1 round.
Wish: Apply the new and fast system also for Diamond and above.

Ranked is fun till diamond, after that I hate to play 2-3 times, it’s exhausting. The first type is quick short fun. 2nd feels long hard annoying grinding.

I agree, one of the main reasons why ranked is change for better is that there is one match not split in two rounds. This mechanic made power league so boring and unfun. But when i saw that in diamond and above this mechanic comes back, i think its not even worth the time playing. I feel like the way to reward players for playing two rounds in match would be increasing chances for skins in ranked star drops. I opened 6 (im on gold lll) and i didnt get any skin, only profile pictures, spray and bling

one problem i feel is kinda bad is that since the ranked skin is completely rng in the ranked star drops some people could go as far as they could possibly reach based on their skill level and not get the skin from the star drops if not lucky, though those who had good rng would feel rlly good. if not, these people would need to wait for the next season to continue grinding the game out for that skin with an even smaller chance to get lucky and pull it, especially if one skin is appealing to them, causing much annoyance. the previous skin system was probably better as it just made people play the game for 60 wins instead and allows them to reach the goal after spending some time
I’m having problems with ranked Starr drops in all I’ve gotten 3 pins, 3 sprays, 1 player icon, and 200 bling (barely useful)
Well...its relatively known that ranked drops are completely cosmetic. You do have a 10% chance to get the exclusive dyna skin tho...good odds I would say...
and all I got was 100 bling everytime. I'm now at diamond.
Just for comparision. 100 bling is 1/15 of an emote. With the worst luck in the world you would need to wait 3 seasons just to buy one pin (1500 bling) Meaning 3 months of well progress. I hate how much luck based everything is. I loved boxes because they had resources guaranteed. Also I was able to flex with my power league skin just because I played it. and well now my friend got it on 1st starr drop (dynasty mike) and I haven't gotten anything.

the issue with boxes is that they were gambling. you can't buy starr drops. just swap starr drops for boxes and there are no issues@@chrispdo

I am still not sure what my opinion on modifiers is. They are very fun but I'm not sure if they fit competitive. For example the ammo one is absolutely busted for colt in heist. The slowed detonation is basically an open map game for snipers which is fine I guess... The big friend is interesting and I think could be cool to see in actual teams.
How does the reload ammo modifier work ?
It doesn't seem to work for me.
I kinda thought they were going to base that ammo reload modifier per ammo landed and not just every bullet. It has potential to be great and fun but must fix!
I mean, imagine Colt needs to land all of his bullets in a single ammo to reload half. And if he misses most of it only a smal portion is recovered. It should work by ammo percentage dealt rather than amount of _pellets_ they land
i hate the timed detonation modifier, its always just going to end up favouring long ranged brawlers like piper and bea, and it makes the original chosen map useless, since the gameplay will be the same: long ranged fights, they should make the walls/grass respawn or something to make it better
ts dumb how there is no penalty for exiting/ dq from a draft, so ppl can infinitely do it over an over again and its really annoying. as it doesn't hurt your "rep." another thing i have noticed is even in bronze, matchmaking takes FOREVER in a team. The reason why no one played team pl is that mm was so long, it was sweatier than normal, and you got barely any elo. and that is exactly what playing i nteams feels like rn, hopefully smthn gets changed abt it
I was able to play and few ranked matches.The stardrops don't really feel special but then ofcourse the skins will not come that easily as they are worth 70 plus gems.The modes are really fun.They add abit of spice to the game.
I realy enjoying the ranked mode especially the modifiers for one reason the old system was mostly depending on the brawler level and your team mates for a certain degree but now even if the enemy brawler is higher level if he can't utilize the modifier to his advantage he will lose as for the pro players out there they can increase the number of banded brawler for example from 3 brawlers per team to 6 brawler per team
So far I've had no issue with ranked, I'm looking forward to players getting distributed along the ranks though. Matchmaking is wild when everyone is reset to the bottom
I liked the modifiers a lot, I’ve been grinding power league every season till top 50 in my country mythic 1 or 2. And when modifiers were introduced it was a lot of fun climbing ladder up. I think what devs need to do is make that modifiers are till the diamond after diamond no modifiers or remove them completely from ranked and make it like a different game mode cause it’s fun
best solution for ranked modifier issue is make it so bronze through diamond modifiers are there and after its no modifier.
I need there to be a bit more time before the March so I can see the modifier and a second after for gears and gadget change
Actually in big friend I faced a team and they all had 14K HP and I am feeling it tough to level up 12 brawlers to level 9
LMAO matches would start right away, no wonder why sometimes I felt so rushed pushing that exit button 😭😭
I think they can fix the reload one by nerfing the reload.
For example:- the brawlers with more than 4 projectiles (colt pam....) Only reload upto 5% of a ammo with 1 projectiles.
The brawlers with less than 4 projectiles (Piper cordilius ...) Gets 10% reload per projectiles ...
My two biggest problems with the new ranked is that
1. When I try to play with another person I am stuck in matchmaking hell and have spent like 10 minutes looking for a game without ever getting in one and I dont think ranked matchmaking knows how to handle stacks of two.
2. Bots should not be a thing in ranked mode. If you're doing poorly and face bots in the normal game that is good for progression but if someone faces bots in a competitive mode it just leads to rank inflation and people aren't in the rank they're supposed to be. Also, it's just not fun to play against bots.
Idk if anyone else had the same issue as me, but I am not receiving every other ranked star drop. I rank up and receive nothing on every other rank drop goal.

Okay so up to Diamond 1 I really like ranked, coz the matches almost feel like normal matches and not too long like they did before.. but now I’m in diamond and I won’t be playing it that often anymore. Also I haven’t gotten ANYTHING out of the boxes… I’m a dyna main so it hurts even more
Im super upset the ranked skins are locked behind luck now, I've gotten all the ranked drops up to golden and I havent gotten dynasty mike, yet multiple people got it at bronze, it feels pretty much impossible to get this skin now because of how lucky you have to get with randoms and the wins. I could just be inhailing copium but meh.
Edit: Watched the rest of the video, seems they are gonna fix it but Im just confused on how, hope I can still get it this season before it gets lost to time.
My only problem is matchmaking with teammates. It gets stuck in 4-5 players and will go on forever

If you want my opinion, sure it might be fun but it can be too cheesy at times, like bro you can literally regain ammo from the heist safe which is insane, basically I feel like this gamemode is NOT competitive whatsoever.
Ive seen everyone talk about the issue with unleashed but i had no problems with it. Only my first ever match was going at like 5 seconds per frame but other than that it worked fine. So for me the compensation was just another free hypercharge and a legendary starr drop.
Been enjoying ranked until i hit diamond one... at diamond one the team woth the one op brawler that didnt get banned wins most of the time, it isnt fun
What if the modifiers are revealed after the selection phase? Would that be too much reliant on luck?

They should make the modifiers harder to run into the higher you climb the ranks. I feel like ranked would be dead again if they removed modifiers all together.

i tried out rank the first day it was availabale couldt get into a game for 30 mins and when i did i'd already be kicked for idiling because of the endless queque and that effected my rep brawl stars devs need to fix the matchmaking issues
Anyone else having problems queuing with a duo. Everytime I play ranked solo it works perfectly fine but when I try to play with my brother (who is the same rank) it doesn’t work.

I love the new ranked specially the big friend and instant reload mode they are always so fun to play in , they also add so many new strategies into the game it’s genuinely so fun

I think the modifiera are one of the best things about ranked. I'm not a competitive player, and I think a ranked mode without modifiers feels super stale after a couple of seasons. That should keep fresh the gamemode.
At the end, like the developers said, those are modifiers that affect equally both teams and they have to coordinate to get the best possible comp. Hope it stays

Simple fix for modifier - a mod is chosen, a vote is held - play classic or with the mod. Majority wins.
As for ranking up, shd be nearly same as PL, shd gain more n lose more in higher ranks(dia and up cuz of longer matches) and reduce points per win in lower ranks(literally like 100 per match). Also bots shdnt be there -_-
Nextly the ranked drops reward shd be tradable for bling. So if u get a spray/icon u dont like, u can exchange for bling(but less bling would be given).

I think people will enjoy modifiers for a season or two but after that it'll kill the game as the people who loves sweaty games(including me) will leave it so to solve this problem maybe they can add modifiers after every 2 normal ranked season or something
I think rewards could be better i mean skins are fine at the end of the day getting some progression is important how they can adjust this is like
At the end of the season reward players like with bronze:2000 coins and 2000 power points
And they keep doubling each time they rank up so everyone has motivation to play ranked and also get skins at same time
Exept from the match making i think ranked is a great adition to the game and i really enjoy playing it

It feels very unpolished. One of the things which bothers me the most is that there is no allocated time to choose the star power, gadget and gear for your brawler after brawler selection. You can clearly see they took the same UI as power league or such but didn't rework it properly
It was really fun untill i reached diamond, when it came back to that power league style i get bored and just stop.
I genuinely can't get into A SINGLE GAME with a soul, I was in match making for a solid 30 min before giving up
Quick fire is wonky with throwers, because most of the time you don’t get ammo back.
Hope they make it so you get ammo back for each time you do dmg with it and not based on the amount of hits.
Yeah, there are a bunch of brawlers that don’t get ammo back in quick fire. I’m working on a list right now and it seems like it’s brawlers that have star powers that change properties of their shots/reloads/ammo (e.g All of the throwers, Mico, Brock, Bonnie outside of the cannon for some reason???)
I miss power league because it was the most competetive gamemode out there. you could ban brawlers, u could see your opponents brawlers and setup your own team to counter theirs, you had better rewards and it just felt and was organized like an actual ranked and competetive mode. now this just feels like another gamemode because of all the random modifiers and less depth into first picking your brawler, second playing the game
I enjoy Ranked the most out of every mode so far, even more than Solo SD (stopped liking Solo SD due to Teaming/Wintrading) but the Starr Drops are honestly so bad. I've spent solid 4h grinding Ranked just to get 300 bling and 2 profile icons.
I like ranked but I’m stuck at gold 1, my last 3 games, I was the only person on my team that got any kills, I can only carry my team to an extent
i love ranked and its concept, but there still are some things that are 💩. only power 9 or up brawlers is not good, since i have a lot of brawlers im a god at under p9. lets make it a feature where if i get suggested a brawler, i can pick it, no matter the level. also, the mm. I GET VS PPL WITH SATURNIAN FAME THAT ARE GODS LIKE TENSAI AND I HAVE LITERRAL BOTS IN MY TEAM. i dont hate it tho if there is a bot match😅
Did they adjust unlimited ammo? I got it on knockout and took Miko. I thought being able to jump forever would make him insane, but I ran out of ammo in spite of landing on people >
Yesterday me and some friends pushed to diamond 1 in school for 2 hours and 59 mins beacuse the matchmaking was around 2-3 mins.
Ranked from bronze 1 - gold 3 Is basically just a more fun version of mega pig that we always have access to. Diamond 1and above is basically just power league. While the pros perspective is important, I don't think it should heavily influence the game, cuz casuals (such as myself) don't like sweaty gameplay being the focus
I think timed detention is a good modifier that isn't too gimmicky but quick fire for sure should not be in the competitive mode
