Using the Greenlee 855 SMART Bender, with the Standard Control Pendant

The Greenlee 855 SMART bender is an electric bender that has the capability to bend conduit vertically as well as horizontally by the use of the rotating body to convert the bender shoes facing outward (vertical mode) into a table top bender (horizontal mode). The technology of the electric bender demands a sequential approach to using the equipment, because the standard and deluxe pendants, which control the electrical bender must be installed in the connecting jack for the pendants prior to the bender being turned on and power applied; this is so the pendants can program the bender properly prior to being energized. It is important that the manual be consulted prior to use, so that instructions can be followed to use the bender properly and safely. This video uses the Standard Pendant which is a manually operated to control bend angles.
