@James Nope. The biggest negative for me is that it's a little on the bulky/heavy side. Other than that, it's been great so far. Fully functional and fun to use.

Great video!! Just got my Moto 360 V3, $179 at Amazon. I agree with all of your comments. One gripe I have is the very weak vibration on notifications. I can barely feel it, even at the longest setting. Decided to turn it off hoping it might improve my battery life.
Hi Sal, thanks for your comment... That's a good price for the watch. I did find the vibration weaker than some other watches, but still found it useable. Maybe it's my bony arms. 😜
A fair review perhaps deserving a slightly lower score Aaron. Bought one to upgrade from a not very accurate cheapie from Wish.
Outta box gripes:
1. Does do heartbeat but doesn't do natively blood pressure.
2. Battery life is crappy if you use the unit intensively - say reading mail or such I have had the unit die on me - nothing like asking someone for the time when you are wearing a watch. Would love to see a vid on Wear OS apps especially around fitness health monitoring which was the primary reason for purchase.
3. Agree with right / left wrist wearing concern - If the darn thing can display a sideways orientation while charging at night why shouldn't turning the watch "upside-down" for right wrist wearers be an issue?- That's a simple fix really.
4 I am a large fella so the provided wrist bands are a little too short for me I use the last 4 holes having difficulty finding a longer strap to replace the supplied ones.

@@gearupaaron 7.5 out of 10. Price was a factor but my 30$ cheapie from Wish did BP. Accuracy being an issue went for an upgrade. In my haste to get accuracy the BP is missing and seems to be possible through add on apps. Haven't bought one yet.

Good review revisiting 8 months later. I'm still on the fence. Maybe when gen 4 comes out, this'll be discounted even further. Btw, airport fast-food restaurants are stinky expensive swindlers because of stinky expensive rental prices and of course opportunistic practices.

Yeah, it's an interesting model line because none of these are made by Motorola, but by two other companies who're using Moto's name, just like the Moto 360.

Just ordered a brand new stainless steel version for $179. I think it's the best looking watch this side of east jesus. Had the original moto and loved it. God, I can't believe it's been so long since the original.

I still have the second gen, the sport that I wear everyday at work because its rubber and don't matter if I smack it into a door jam. I have a 46mm 360 second gen Black I wear on the weekend, both are mint. I'm not sure I need to upgrade, flat tire doesn't bother me cause I use a black minimal screen. I liked the video though. Keep up the good work!

Slower than molasses in what month? LOL good video I just purchased the 360 2020 on and I like it alot. I was looking for videos on how to best use the features and can't seem to find where to change the 2nd button shortcut to another function.

Nice watch..... how good is the heart beat stuff, blood pressure etc. Are there lots of different faces? Also how does it update and upgrade software.
All the fitness trackers are pretty consistent (though not professional grade by any means). There's a pretty decent direction of watchface and you update via the app.

I don't like the shrunken 1.2mm screen on this one. I know it's because of the light sensor all the way around the screen so you don't have the flat tire.. however, I would rather have the larger screen and live with the flat tire previous moto 360s had.

The first watch I had somehow got updated and the Fit app is no longer the same. Got replacement watch, was excited to see the old style Fit which showed past 7 day step statistics. Set it up, everything seem ok, and then suddenly notifications “based on community feedback your goals tracking got updated...”, now the same crap as in the original watch. What the heck? Why did it update???
I got it almost two weeks ago and my only gripes are the large inner bezel (it reminds me of the pebble round), it makes the actual display smaller than it actually is and the charging method; I wish they stuck to the Qi wireless charging standard like the first two generations.
Thanks for your thoughts, JT - I found it rather odd that they left out Qi this time round. I guess to keep costs down. Or something.
I loved wireless charging on the original 360. I never had to buy extra cradles for work and home.

Actually, great solution for those who wear on the right hand would be to allow to programmatically rotate the screen, then you'd have a rotating crown on bottom-left corner.
Good call! There's an app for that, although I'm not sure if there's one for this Moto.

Does the screen flip for a left handed user? Like, when it flipped when you charged it.
It's just your hand covers the screen I see later in this excellent video.

In case if you are curious, I had 2gen for years until it died. Got the 3rd gen last week. It’s really nice looking, but that’s probably the only advantage. The biggest issue right now is the step count is lagging, gets updated maybe every 10-15 minutes.
Out of curiosity, which fitness app do you use for step tracking?
GearUP with Aaron standard app that came preinstalled in the watch, I think it’s called “Fit”, although after update “Fit” icon disappeared, and now only “Fit goals”, “Fit breathe”, and “Fit workout”, all three pretty much take you to the same area where the activities displayed and controlled.
That's odd, when I had it, tracking was pretty much delayed about 7-8 seconds. I wonder if our Bluetooth connections make a difference or not.

Ooo, tough one. Moto for Wear OS and meatier aesthetics, Samsung if you want to try something different and sleeker design. It's a toss up for me!

I'd consider the screen in broad daylight as middle-of-the-pack, so it's okay outdoors, as long as not under direct sunlight (you might have to shade it with your hand or something).

Luz, do you have access to another (person's) phone to pair the watch to? That may help pinpoint whether the watch is bad or something up with BT on your phone. Hope this helps some.
