I like the detail Cloud wielded his blade similar to how Sephiroth wielded Masamume during the possession.
I appreciated that too. Also the way he dodged bullets with that grin like Sephiroth would have as well.
He fight like Sephiroth when he is possessed.
The speed of the atacks and the cruelty in the finalizations (just like in nimbelheim).

What I love about Remake and Rebirth is Cloud is a fuckin' beast.

Actually if you pay attention Cloud is even more of an absolute beast than you even think. The scene with Midgardsomr underwater was implied that Sephiroth was an illusion meaning Cloud actually killed the snake himself while under control of Sephiroth using finishing touch.
Cloud being manipulated and corrupted by Sephiroth reminds me of Frodo and the Ring in LOTR. You see both characters become darker the longer they are under the influence of evil, through no fault of their own, which is why it’s so horrifying to watch when your heroes do bad things.
Some of their actions are done against their will.

This is against Clouds will. He was never a Soldier or apart of it. He was forced to have Jenova cells implanted in him when he was experimented on. These poor Soldiers have their will's taken away and broken down to only husks. That is what is slowly happening to Cloud. Sephiroth is slowly breaking Cloud will down and taking over.

@@misterwacky3186 It really is. Even Hojo early in the game asked if Cloud could *Hear the calling* and when Cloud was not sure what he meant Hojo replied back saying *It is only a matter of time. No matter how strong you are the call always gets you*. Then the guy are the beginning who helps you was also infused with Mako and Jenova cells for the first time Soldiers and his will was already extremely weak to point he almost ups and walks out of the Hotel.

Man Cloud killing those guys like Sephiroth is both scary and awesome. If the Smash gang saw this, they would be shocked to see what he had went through and what it feels like being in his shoes.
Just thinking, since Cloud would technically be more dead and cold in Part 3, how about adding a Sephiroth mode or Limit Break for Cloud that pretty much makes you temporarily immune to damage and completely changes your play style during it's duration, just like Symbiote for Spider Man lol. It can have it's buffs and debuffs or changes to Cloud's relationship with other characters depending on how you use it
@@watchamigos1232I actually really like the implications of that. Cloud is already a stance change character so the idea of giving him like a Sephiroth and a Zack stance to be a sort of substitute for not being able to play Zack or Sephiroth freely in the main story would be awesome.
Been playing this as blind as I can get and seeing this scene I was speechless. This game has been amazing so far with how it handles it story

In Japanese, Sephiroth says, "Those you fear, those you love." Later, when Cloud repeats those words, he switches them around to "Those you LOVE, those you fear" when looking at Tifa. It's nuances like these that get lost in localisation.

It legitimately bothers me how many people think Sephiroth is capable of possessing Cloud. The dude ain’t a ghost, he’s using the Jenova cells in Cloud, similar to how he does with the Sephiroth clones, but Cloud is special and Sephiroth can’t manifest through him.

If you played the game you would see it IS Sephiroth taking control of Cloud and it's not Jenova cells it's S cells/blood/tissue.

Sephiroth enforces his will over and commands Jenova’s actions so it is basically Sephiroth mind controlling him secondhand through Jenova.
This reminded me, both Zack and Cloud were infused in dense mako by Hojo, Cloud got the poisoning but accidentally went trough a more sophisticated Soldier procedure. Zack on other hand already had a mako procedure so the experiment was ineffective and basically even if he is alive in anytime soon or later Zack also will become a black hoodie like Rouch and the inn owner.
Cloud is not going to degradate and makes him perfect vessel for sephiroth.

only now those few soldiers supposedly died.
In that regard the original did a better job.
They pretty much made it clear everyone you fought was killed, they just did not make a big deal about it as it was a kill or be killed situation.
No they died. The point of this scene is that he’s being weirdly brutal about it. Reveling in killing them.

scarlet only starts running once she saw she pissed the wrong person lol.. once cloud starts killing those infantrys of hers like flies.. she starts running.. im sure she knows cloud is technically a clone of sepiroth in genetics and power.. so as someone who have been in shinra for soo long she would know how dangerous sephiroth would be and that tin can mech of her wont save her from him.. not to mention sephicloud is not weilding a thin ass masamune.. but a freaking big ass buster sword..

@@Sephiroth08150I think this is the fairest interpretation. They signed up for a job and accepted deployment to an operation where they are expected to fight for their life. The scene in the temple is more brutal since the soldier is implied to have not wanted to die as he wasn’t exactly on a mission he thought he’d die on beforehand. But regardless they are soldiers and thus fight or die.

I don’t get why Scarlet flees
whispers attancking her while she can't fight back because she's trying to get the weapon, so she's left undefended to them. So she prefers to leave rather than be hurt for a weapon she can try to get somewhere else.
Whispers are obstructing her from getting the materia from weapon (as it wasn’t canon for her to obtain it) they’re keeping the flow of canon by getting in her way

Clouds new combat is sick. Very fluid and versatile. 10 times better than remake.
I don't know I like rebirth better TBH. I also like the fact that after you dodge you get ranged shots. That should have been in remake.
Rebirth is way better, he has all his moves from remake and an entire new arsenal of attacks. I don't know what game you're playing.
