A montage of footage I shot handheld with the FX3 during my latest trip to Virginia Beach with my wife and our little dog. Everything was shot without the FX3 top handle on, just me holding the body of the camera, and paired with two of the Phantom LUTS created by Joel Famularo.
In this example, I chose to use the Eterna LUT from the 'Film Look' LUT pack for all the outdoor footage and the Neutral LUT from the 'Arri Look' LUT pack for all the indoor footage.

Yo thanks Darrell! Yes, I personally do prefer the FX3 over the A7sIII primarily because of the button layout. I also own the FX6 so the more cinema camera like button layout of the FX3 makes it a lot easier on me when working with both of these cameras on set. There are many more reasons I prefer the FX3 over the A7sIII but the button layout being more like a cinema camera is the biggest one for me.
The cageless design is another big one for me as I love how small and compact it allows my rig to be.

Hey, thanks for reaching out! I recommend using them with a external monitor. I personally prefer to expose true to the camera rather than 2 stops over with these LUTs. Hope you find this helpful. 🙂🤙🏼

Yes, I did add some 35mm grain to the footage.
Do you find the fx3 and fx6 image to look the same?
Hey Chris, thats a great question! Yes, the color science between these two cameras is very similar but not quite the same. This never really becomes an issue though when pairing them together as long as you use a gray card to custom white balance both cameras. It's also important when using the Phantom LUTs to use the FX6 specific LUTs on FX6 footage for the best results and same goes for the A7sIII and FX3. Hope this was helpful.🤙🏼
Great footage! The bitrate even in 4K destroys the film grain that you've added unfortunately, there's a lot of artefacting and smearing most prominent in the darker scenes. Hopefully youtube can fix this oneday.

I am not actually sure, but I do know there are versions of the LUTs for older A7 cameras in which they would probably work just fine if the color science isn't that different. Honestly, I don't know much about the Sony 6400 as I have never used that camera so I'm sorry if this wasn't much help. 😁🤙🏻
