- Wanted to share what I did 1 week before moving to my house.
Visited home depot for packing supplies, and also got our appliances delivered in our new house. But it wasn't an easy ride. Watch the video to know why!

It sure is a herculean task moving into one's first house,starting from scratch...but once you settle in ur gonna have the best time onwards. Loved how Pooja was so particular about the dents on the fridge and wanted it replaced....I could so relate with it. I agree with you peekpoo, if it has dents they can take it right back for that price. there is such a thing as a moving blanket, bubble wrap and it IS used to properly move appliance. we just ordered our first laundry machines and they made it down stairs un scratched. hope you get some better stuff next time

Lemme give you a big hack. Don’t buy boxes from Home Depot. Tim Hortons, Walmart, dollarama give you big size cartons for free. They receive lot of their stuff In cartons and they wanna get rid off these cartons so they give it away for free. All you have to do is just go and ask for it.
Same thing I wanted to tell her, don’t waste your money on cartons ever!! TH gives out these cartons happily,and they are in good condition and solid too

Please make a list of things in each box and use numbers on boxes and list. You will be only opening the box you need. Pack related items in each box like kitchen needs will go in one.
It will be so time saving trust me.
N take clothes with hangers garbage bag on them.
It won’t be any mess moving ppl will place boxes accordingly as per their names like bedroom, kitchen etc.
Definitely would love to see all your moving clips, from packing, shopping and yes decorating, so do upload all your clips. You explain it in very good 👍 way, keep it up and keep going 🥰

You can store items in storage bin in the garage where can as a fridge where is cold

Love your vlog. Can you tell us what camera you use and editing software you use to create your vl9g
FYI - if you got a third-party contractor (which I am sure you did) to run a new gas line, you just voided the warranty on your entire wall where they ran this new line.
Nothing to be alarmed but be aware of areas where you get work done after which was not done by the builder. Even small things like replacing the builder-provided mirrors voids with the warranty on that wall for cracking or movement. Read Tarion guidelines to be more aware.
Lastly, ensure you had a certified gas Technician running your new line and connecting the stove. I have seen people cheap out and end up doing significant damages to their structure.

Has the pacing started yet. Couple years ago when we bought I was so excited anxious and nervous all at the same time. You haven't given us the address so we can come over for some Timmies. We just bought a fridge last weekend. They are so expensive. We looked at the one your got and there was no way we were going to pay over $3000 for a fridge. We ended up finding at nice newer big refurbished fridge for under a $1000

Canadian winters are very rollercosterish. It can be mild or downright disgustingly cold. I highly recommend you invest in a quality coat. Canada goose or a moose knuckle✅
